  1. Having cared for my grandparents I can tell you they had a hard time keeping them in when eating rice pudding. If they went Zombie with their fake chompers in those things would be stuck in the of the first guy they tried to eat. That's some strong fixodent.
  2. Which one of you pervs already snatched up the "naked Andrea butt" page? Also, it appears there is a ghost on the OA page 9 of issue 98.
  3. I have a guess. Putting it in spoiler tags in case I am right.
  4. Looks pretty cool. I am up to 3 covers that I want to buy now.
  5. The chick from True Blood is alright. Her character annoys the hell out me though. It kind of makes me not like her.
  6. It's the only one he found in the storage locker that was in a plastic case.
  7. My take on it, which may be WAY off since I only watch the show (and am only a couple episodes into the second season): I'm with this explanation.
  8. Some of us do. Let's make a concerted effort! Together, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!! +1 (thumbs u
  9. Let me preface this with I don't always know what I am talking about: I think, depending on the condition of the books you bought, you would make more money in the long run with slabbing. People like the security of knowing the grade of the comic they are buying and are willing to pay for that security. However, I don't know what shipping rates to CGC are from overseas so I don't know if it would be cost effective for you to do it. With the market the way it is on these books as of right now, it doesn't seem like from what you say you will have a problem making your money back or even turning a profit. Plus, it brings you enjoyment. I say it would make more in the longrun, but you have to decide if you want to/can go through what it takes to slab them.
  10. So I will be buying my first piece of Walking Dead OA on Tuesday or Wednesday. I have to wait until a payment clears the Paypal hold. I have my eye on a page on Splashpageart. Does anyone know why they only accept money orders, cashier's checks or personal checks? It says they take Paypal if necessary. That is the way I would like to pay, but I don't want to cause a headache.
  11. Are you asking why don't more people commit fraud on signed books? His reply was to brendan's comment a while back about photocopied WD pages I think.
  12. With all of this talk about people ordering hundreds of issues to get variants and such, isn't the print run on this issue going to be astronomical?
  13. They left a hole on the top in case you decided to put in the light. LEDs are usually available at Ikea. Do you guys have a link to these cases? I think I might need one. david, I have 2 of them in my store I didn't recognize them as the same ones. I will take a closer look next time.

  17. This was addressed yesterday. In this thread. I think people can speculate, but bottom line is: No one knows.
  18. Is it sad that I want one? Yes My wife tells me that I shouldn't show my 3-year-old the pictures when he asks to see what book I am reading. This would have been perfect. Every toddler should be introduced to zombies in some way.
