  1. I have this book and noticed that it is listed as an LB Cole cover in GCB but there is no signature on cover and Overstreet doesn't mention it as one of his covers. Would you say this is an LB cover?
  2. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this today and flipped through the book to find Stan Lee's signature! I wasn't expecting it or the letter of certification as it hadn't been mentioned in the auction I won on Ebay.
  3. My guess would be Action #21. Really hard to tell. That area where Superman's cape should be looks more rectangular than the shape of the cape on #21. But, the more I look at the pic, the more I think we're not seeing the whole comic cover image in the pic. There seems to be something about the size of an index card obscuring the left side of the cover, making it very hard to identify. I believe it could also be Action #12. The planet just below the "O" in Action 12 looks similar to the circular object in the photo.
  4. I just received ASM #194. It was secured packed and shipped quickly. Thanks Francisco!
  5. Thanks again Steve for an amazing Avengers #57. It arrived today in perfect shape!
  6. I've run into that before too (where Overstreet doesn't list certain books as Whitmans) but it appears that neither of these books are considered rare or scarce according to Doug Sulipa's website. BTW: Doug does update the list, and often that update isn't reflected on his Website right away. I found this out recently when I discovered a small error. If you want to get the most up to date list of Whitman rares, I'd email him (thumbs u Thanks guys. I'll email him for the list.
  7. I found these two comics among my collection however there is no mention of these Whitman variants in OSPG. Is anyone familiar with these two issues and if so, are these two hard to find and/or rare variants? Thanks Mickey Mouse #187 (1978) (35 cent cover) Ripley's Believe It Or Not #64 (1976) (25 cent cover)
  8. From what I've read on here, production errors are not considered in CGC's grading.
  9. Kudos to FOOLKILLER for helping me obtain one of my grails - Avengers #4
  10. Thanks NEARMINT for some cool books shipped quickly and securely. (thumbs u
  11. Kudos to CRAZY CANUCK for some awesome books and superfast shipping!! I've now joined the pedigree club
  12. that was the first GA book I ever bought....still have it from over 30 years ago. I paid $20 and my copy is a 5.0 at best congrats Thanks comicdey - look forward to buying more GA - hopefully Captain America or other early Marvel
  13. That's a cool comic, fun cover, and yes, you definitely need more GA. Regarding the slabbing, in my lowly opinion this would be just as well served by putting it in a high-quality mylar sleeve with an acid-free backing. I was going to just keep it in a mylar sleeve but I have my CGC coupons that are expiring soon and I can't think of anything else to slab at the moment.
  14. One of my few GA books - wish I had more GA! Was included in an SA lot I purchased. Thinking of getting it slabbed.
  15. Kudos to rube11 for a great comic, well packing and quick shipping! Thanks
  16. Jack Kirby cover - I love these monster covers
