  1. I think Hughes was remarkably durable, and I love the combination of 'epic romance'. He was still cooking on gas to the last issue of Forbidden Worlds (#145)...
  2. They were romance comics disguised as fantasy/horror a lot of the time....
  3. I've always had a penchant for these, though sold all mine long ago. Ogden Whitney is underrated I think. Charming stories by Richard E. Hughes! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_E._Hughes
  4. Which issue of Planet Comics do you guys think is the most underrated? For me, it would be a toss up between #32 and #49, but on balance I'd go with #32. I think it has one of the most dynamic compositions.
  5. Here is one I no longer own - fascinated by the change in colors from the original!
  6. Great stuff, Kev. Could you do close up scans of the Mars and Planet comics with the #17 cover? Never seen those before!
  7. It's a little surprising that the highest on the census is only 9.0 (two copies). I have always wondered what makes this issue so scarce. Anyway, here's mine. (Kelly's copy has better colors).
