  1. Woah Steve! I just caught up to Fleisel Who's this Sullivan guy? [Of course Fred is so passé]
  2. Beautiful copy, never seen one better. The cover story is kind of crazy, and while delightful is not the expected denouement. I still try to figure what the story the cover suggests might have been. True love between a robot and a fashion model? Lady Mechanica? Miscegenation? Utter romance either, either way. The greatest romance cover out there.
  3. Because you don't deserve Spokanes. Apparently, neither do I.
  4. If the damsel's thoughts were visible, she might say, "If only I knew if I were in a horror comic or a western! I'm so confused!" It's a sub-genre I love also. If memory serves, there are some classic short horror stories in Tim Holt as well.
  5. Wonderful book Chris. One of the few covers to outdo Planet Comics in the early golden age sci fi stakes. I've always wanted one, and never had a sniff.
  6. Where did that come from?!? I could say but Billy might have to shoot me, then himself.
  7. Yeah, no question! Too bad he can't read em though. I did offer to sell them to him at cover price on condition that he read them, but strangely, he refused.
  8. An atypical cover by Reginald Heade, working under the pseudonym, Cy Webb
  9. Possibly my favourite cover of the run. Great story. Yes - perhaps mine too. It would appear that black cowled Nazis work for both of us. Or, ahem, maybe its the babe in Tyrolean garb? Anyone have a preference for another Fight cover over this one? 5, 6, 11, 13, 20, 28, 31.... So, not many then?

  11. Rarely seen in nice shape. That one's a beauty.
  12. So you landed it at last! Congratulations Kelly! Far and away the best copy on the planet.

  14. i feel like this book rivals any comic in our hobby for sheer beauty. i flat love the book. so happy it's in my geek family. wow Does your eloquence no know - er, know no bounds? I want a geek divorce! And before you ask, the answer is "Know"
  15. Great stuff ! Thank you for sharing (thumbs u Thanks Karl - sharing your books with PS artbooks so they could complete the "missing" volume was a really generous gesture.
  16. looks great! here is mine: Finally a game I can play.
  17. True - I've seen a handful of Funny Pages 38's (including some nice pedigrees), but issue 40 is very scarce (to rare). Congrat's on the Centaur re-build rick, coming along very nicely! It's been fun (and frustrating at same time ) If I were to "combine" my previous effort with current , I would only be lacking 14 books to completion. Unfortunately the first time I sold off most all , there were some real tough ones that I might not see again for a long time. I'm still 30-40 short (have to update soon) but have had a tremendous amount of boarie help obtaining issues. So a big THANK YOU to all that have assisted me! I'm sure I speak for us all when I say " We ain't done yet"!
  18. A masterpiece. I'm ashamed to say I once had a copy like yours and let it go. That book does not turn up often!
