I finished as well. And also thought D'Onofrio's voice sounded too forced. Overall a good job by him though. I generally liked the new costume, but the mask looks strange. This suit seems far more functional than most others, but the visual design of the mask needs some work. I finished it too, and haha I agree. It reminded me of Christian Bale's Batman voice. Honestly, I think the Kingpin casting is the worst in the series. His voice is odd at times and at others he looks like a scared, confused little kid. It just isn't how I picture him. He's still pretty good, but he should be better, IMO. The last episode is when he turns into the Kingpin... The whole series is really the origin of the Kingpin. All of his insecurities and social issues are there to show what he was...

You got all that from a trailer? You know I didn't. I also read Internet forums too. I'm just being honest that I can't see this being good.

Exactly my thoughts

I'm looking forward to see how they tie the next episode to Avengers 2 AoU. The show will get better once the movie is out and they tie it into the movie story line.

I disagree 100% The costume was barely shown so I think saying it sucks is a bit much. We need some better lighting to really see it. I think it looks fine from what I've seen. And the last episode was fantastic. I'm surprised by anyone who thinks this series wasn't one of the best things Marvel has ever put out.

The Netflix series was amazing. I'm hooked I'm back into DD comics because of it!

I'm not sure what their plans were initially, but given the response, they would be foolish not to have a second season. And Marvel has not shown a tendency to foolishness. I agree 100%. The show deserves more than just a season 2. If they can hit it out of the park again...keep it going. This cast deserves more than just one season. I just watched the end of Episode 2 again. I can watch that fight scene 1,000 times and not get tired.

The one in E3 is even better. I said to someone else, this series matches the best of Hong Kong action movies in terms of its long shot, imaginatively choreographed fights! This is exactly what I was saying to my cousin the other night who loves martial arts movies/fights. The end of episode 2 was an epic fight. I think the best i've ever seen. And also shot/edited amazingly well.

There was a commercial for DD last night on Agents of Shield. It called him the first Defender. That definitely means he will be in the Defenders series. Doesn't seem likely they will have a season 2 of DD. But I hope they do. As for the violence of this show...it's perfect. I've wanted a gritty and realistic view of the superhero fights for a long time.

I don't agree with your assessment. The show has no annoying qualities. Karen is great and so is foggy. It's about as near perfect a show as you can get.

That's because it's amazing. Regular TV shows like Gotham and Agents of shield seem like scooby do in comparison
