  1. I’ve got a few Cramps records , including one signed by Lux Interior and Poison Ivy. I’ll see if I can find it and post a pic later
  2. I'm still more of a Stone's fan . Definitely have more Stones on vinyl than Beatles. But there's a few things that I held on to. The butcher cover I have is a 3rd Generation (cover steamed and peeled) that's in so -so shape but its' the one I got when I was managing a used record store here in town back in the 90's.
  3. And there's multiple versions.. due to it having been released, then the cover changed and had the trunk cover pasted over existing butcher covers (where you can barely see through and tell that the butcher cover is underneath.. notably Paul's dark hair showing through the white background of the "new" cover if I remember correctly). There is also the "peeled" versions where people realized they had the copies that had the new cover pasted over old, and tried to remove it; most of the time steaming it and peeling. Those vary due to quality of the peel job. Also notably is that there is a promotional copy of the original cover out there, but I only heard about that from the shop that had it and sold it. Collecting records is fun and it is a lot like comics. Some great covers, need to handled carefully, are habit forming in both collecting and searching for, and they take up a lot of space if you find enough good ones. I collected for about 25 years, including a few stints working at various record stores; and still dabble in it every now and then. Even still these days, I wiill always check out a record store or two in any city I go visit.
  4. This is the end of the thread here. I went back in and adjusted prices slightly and I am open to all offers.
  5. Marvel Mystery Comics 88 CGC 1.5 blue label (finally). Complete but cover is detached and has tape on it. Told you these were affordable grade right? Still a cool cover with the Blonde Phantom featured prominently on it. Let's do $350 on this one as well. SOLD!
  6. Marvel Mystery Comics 87 1st Captain America and Golden Girl team up. One of the odder covers to me, as the Human Torch feels like an afterthought. Centerfold missing (see a trend here with this batch? of books) but otherwise it would be a 3.5, so CGC gave it the Qualified green label. Colors are nice on this one and it was probably the best book of the bunch. Would've been much better if it had that centerfold though. Asking $350 for this one.
  7. Marvel Mystery Comics 86 Sol Brodsky cover here. Blonde Phantom ID revealed. Another missing centerfold so it gets the CGC .5 grade. Another one that would benefit if you married a centerfold into it and I think it would grade much higher. OK, not super higher, but it wouldn't be incomplete anymore. Either way it's another cool one and I'm asking $300
  8. Marvel Mystery Comics 34. Classic Schomburg cover. Besides that it's CGC .5 purple label because of some glue on cover. It's also missing the centerfold so it's a CGC .5. But the upside is that it's a Schomburg cover and probably one of my favorites of the run. Crack it, marry a centerfold, and get that glue off the cover and you'll be doing much better than it is currently. Or leave it as it. Either way I'm asking $350 on this one, just for the cool cover factor alone.SOLD!

  10. Bought a couple of books from Travis, Shazam 1 and Planet Comics in separate transactions. Both books arrived quickly and perfectly as described. Couldn't ask for more and I will buy from again without hesitation.
  11. Plus the Classic Comics in yellow is across the whole top edge, where the second print shortened that yellow box to about half the cover on the left and moved the Stories by the World's Greatest Authors next to it. So indeed, first print.
  12. Classic Comics 32 Lorna Doone all Matt Baker art here in this one. Book presents well. Crease running down middle of front cover but doesn't break color. Nice gloss on cover. Has that stamp on it and that stamp appears on some pages throughout interior in the margins. I'd say F condition except centerfold is detached at the bottom staple so that knocks it down unfortunately, so let's say VG. But this is a very pretty VG copy. I'll ask $165 or best offer.

  14. One and only price drop here. Now $135.00. Classic suggestive cover. But you all already know this.
