Why would someone pay any amount of money for any collectible that doesn't have a non-functional use? Some people derive pleasure from owning something that they perceive as rare. Some people are completionists. Those are two extremely common themes of collecting for many people. I'm surprised you've never heard of them. I heard the term thrown around just thought it was silly. I guess one mans trash is another mans treasure.

I know you're correct about #23 but I just checked ebay and CGC doesn't mention it which is odd. Just a general note about horseman. I just read but never realized the covers of 24, 25 & 26 are suppose to form a mural. Might look nice to have some CGC copies displayed side by side. Works well in black and white, not so great in color.

Out of the thousands of people that I have known in my lifetime zero of them have been a Nielson "rater". To me the ratings are all garbage.

Just curious how are these rating obtained. Do they still do the Nielson thing or have they advanced because that is pretty much a waste if you ask me.
