I haven't read through this whole thread so forgive me if this has been mentioned but does anybody have a scan of Two-Gun Kid 60 that doesn't have the hand lettered "60"? In the OSPG it lists the hand written 60 as rare but that is the only one I have ever seen.
It hasn't been asked yet and I've never seen one. I suspect it doesn't exist.

Look what I found today!

Thought I would bump this thread with a fun ebay auction. The seller states no water damage yet check out the picture there clearly is.
All his books are rough.
However, the Rawhide Kid #20 doesn't show up often in any shape.

that all suffered from heavy dust shadows?
CGC doesn't downgrade for dust shadows or foxing (which perplexes me) so from a CGC point of view, they're not "suffering".
But to answer your question, they're from the same group as the others.

The fever appears to have broken where this book is concerned.

I'll give you twenty bucks for it and even cover the PayPal fees.

anyone have an idea who the bidder r***g (939) is? Yeah I know its hidden by eBay, but is it a boardie? He tends to outbid me and today I forgot about to auctions and he won them both. It's a matter of curiousity as we have the same taste in books
It wasn't me.

Oh look! Here's another one!

Another Beautiful Book!!! Is this from the same source as before?
yep - with more to come

The latest addition to my family.
Yes, it's as pretty as it looks.
-
I just got this lovely in the mail. It's actually the #1.
-
Yeah, have a few more, plus some Atlas War and Teen humor in the same grades
He's got some VERY pretty books - get 'em before someone else snatches them up.

First time I ever met Mark. Seems like a heck of a nice guy.
Fooled another one.
-
Same source - I went back to look at things I first passed on and some titles I didn't consider the first time.
-
So, not unlike an addict needing a fix, I went back to the show and accidentally purchased these.
(Texas Kid is the Mile High - most of the others are Ohio)

Wow! Those books are fabulous! Did you get them all from the same dealer?
Three different dealers via one source.
It was a fluke.
-
Thank goodness the world didn't end or else I wouldn't have picked these up at the NYC show today.

Early SA Rawhide Kids
Yes, as a matter of fact, I WOULD like to buy your books.
:-)

THIS is what happens when I decide I want to start collecting them!
Maybe I should start collecting 60's Charlton car books and cause THEM to go through the roof!
-
I think Rawhide Kid #50 was a warehouse find. I am sure other boardies have more info on this.
Gary Dolgoff found them. He foolishly graded them all at the same time.

Just got this back today.
Yay me!
