Nice! You do get nice stuff!
Sadly, my recent finds are coming to a very quick end. :-(
-
Did you already post a #43 or #38?
Don't have either. :-(
-
Another western arrived today to put in my box.
-
Just picked this up at the post office.

Here's my Kirby run
I LOVE that you showed multiples!
CONGRATS!

So who is o**l (678)? I was bidding on those SA westerns and this guy blew me out of the water on all my bids. I was the under bidder on 4 of the auctions out of 5 I was trying to win.
Specificly the Gunsmoke Westerns, and Kid Colt 108 on ebay. I even went over guide. If its a boardie please let me know how they are in person, I was a little concerned a couple had moisture damage along the top and bottom edges.
I hope whoever won them wanted them reeeeeeeeeeeeeally badly because they paid WAY more than they needed to. I don't believe any of them were VF as advertised. The scans were small and grade killer defects don't show up in scans that small. I saw enough problems to write off all but one as a possible VF.

It's not super early but, hey, it's a 9.8!

Did you ever start to rebuild the FF collection or is that a closed chapter ?
It's closed for now but you never know what I might start doing again - FF was always my fave as a kid.
-
Picked this up today.
It's actually one of those rare times when it's prettier in person than the scan.

Got this one all the way from Australia. Does anyone know if I had it re-holdered, would CGC put a special Curator sticker on it?
If you reholder it, you'll lose the old blue label and from what I've seen, the old label has more caché than the Curator sticker.

Just this........
And this......
Among others.

I got a few things back today (finally).
This.......
And this.......

Here's an unslabbed early Kirby cover.
This is the title that everyone forgets existed.
-
Got two of them yesterday.
-
Yeah, yeah, I know this book in high grade is very, very common, but its still my best condition Silver Age book by FAR.
You got one with perfect registration - there aren't many that way so congrats!
-
I cherry picked the books but may want to check again so I'm keeping it under my hat for the moment.
Just got more grades this morning and the Two-Gun Kid #75 came back 9.4 White - YAY FOR ME!!!
I got one other 9.4 White that I haven't pictured yet and even a 9.6 White that also isn't pictured.
A great way to start the day!
-
Got another online grade of 9.4 - YIPEE!!!
Two of the books are on their way to me.
-
Have you got a # 75 ? great cover.
Yep, and I hope to get the grade this week.
-
I sent this one in to be slabbed and I got the grade online this morning.
9.4 YAY!
I've got several more grades to come so I'm not out of the woods yet.

Beautiful westerns! How early did the Boston collection go? Any titles or issues before 1964? I'd like to see some of those. . .especially some circled 12¢ Boston westerns if they exist!
To best of my knowledge, none of the Boston books went that early - regardless of the genre.

The postman just delivered this.
I know it's not technically SA but it's a SA character.
