  1. There are always plenty of slabbed Flash #92s on eBay. I can't recall seeing any others.
  2. I don't know enough to speculate on price but it does look like it has been Costanzed. It is absolutely impossible to determine whether or not any of those "defects" were caused by pressing. 7.5's don't come around for auction very often and the last 8.0 that was on comic connect a few months ago (also rumored to have been pressed) set a new GPA high anyway. I suspect this one will do quite well especially with the Marvel movie buzz swirling around now. -J. Not disagreeing with you man. Just saying it looks fugly on the open edge. The shrinkage, if that's what it is, isn't as bad as many copies. I don't disagree that it is undesirable though. Any time you can see the page edges at the lower right corner that is a turnoff for me. That said, it is very nicely centered otherwise so that may offset the right edge some.
  3. Pretty sure there are three copies in 9.6, at least on the registry.
  4. But they don't need another encapsulation machine. Nope, no backup there.
  5. I was pretty pleased with my last sub that just shipped. One was spot on what I thought, the other came back a 6.5 when I anticipated a 5.0 with possible 6.0 max upside.
  6. Scheduled for grading 3/11 Graded 3/16 Key comments removed 3/23 Graded/QC 3/25 Shipped/safe 3/26, a little early!
  7. Scheduled for grading 3/11 Graded 3/16 Key comments removed 3/23. Graded/QC 3/25
  8. That is typically a prelude to QC, the last stage before shipping. I'm in the same boat with my Economy FT.
  9. If they weren't fast tracked then you should just put the phone down and make some

  11. +1 I used to collect toys but they took up too much space, so I scaled back tremendously. I did keep my vintage Secret Wars figures though, as that line has always been a favorite of mine. The SW Hobgoblin is my favorite figure from the line, followed by the Black Spidey, so I may have to consider picking one of those up from Gentle Giant.
  12. What does one trade to the person who has damn near everything? PS: I'd be happy to try to trade for some of your doubles.
  13. Pretty sure I've seen both covers for GL #81 on eBay previously. I'll check again.
  14. freaking Pinky and the Brain Thanks for keeping the list updated, I know it can be a pain. I'm enjoying the hunt for these immensely, and knowledge is power! I'm looking forward to a little DCU box diving this weekend as R&R from my move...
  15. I hate to bring it up, but while your note says you removed Pinky & the Brain #4 from the list it's actually still on there.
  16. My EFT took a calendar month to hit graded, so April 20 may be a touch ambitious for that sub. Not sure what MFTs are running these days, you may have more of a shot there. My MFT has been sitting at Verified since the 6th. So based on my experience you'll get graded around 4/1, maybe slightly earlier.

  18. You should get more signed by him Sadly, his health isn't great. He's revealed that he has dementia, and even prior to that it was difficult for him to do shows. I hope he will do a few more, but kind of doubt it.
  19. In a word. No. -J. I agree. a few years down the line..if she's still relevant, then I'd say they might consider it. But movies are a very very large financial risk, so they tend to prefer established franchises that have demonstrated they have staying power. Not a dig on the character, just my thoughts. Sure. Huge risk. With a character blowing up, hundred of thousands of fans within little more than 6 months, cos players, millions of dollars spent on properties - an investment of a 100 mil on a failed comic line from the 90s is more promising Sony just killed Gwen in the last movie. That'd be a tough one to explain away if they wanted to bring in S-G. Maybe they use a different actress, which would further confuse the average moviegoer. I'm also not clear who would own the movie rights, as I thought Sony had the rights to any Spider-man character or villain, and Gwen is clearly in that universe. S-G the character has to be too recent to count (we already know Marvel wouldn't innovate just to give ideas away), but if she's based on Gwen Stacy you're going through Sony. Silk would be the clearer choice to bring in a female, but, again, not sure Sony could use a recent creation.
  20. After the $4800 sale of a 7.5 on Clink, I could see a 7.0 having a shot at $3000.
  21. That's a good question. I'm not sure that we need a list in the case of DCUs as long as there aren't any books that are sticker only. I think they're neat, but I don't know that the list needs to be edited for these. I wouldn't mind having a list of the DC bullet sticker issues, like the ones discussed on the last page after my eBay find. I do find these interesting, and would like to know which books to look for. I'd guess the list is fairly short, but it'd be nice to have a handle on it.
