Agreed. For me DCUs are all about the thrill of the chase. I'd rather find them myself, though I will buy from other DCU addicts to support the cause. I agree that $10 is about my maximum though.

Glad you had a good show Tony! I do miss our trips down for this one... I think that rep's attitude matches that for quite a few of the larger shows, that mostly focus on celebrities as a way to drive ticket sales. Stan Lee was probably the only comic guest that would have impacted ticket sales. I don't think we get these megashows like Fan Expo or Alamo without at least some celebrities headlining the guest list.

The Facebook comments on this show are pretty savage. I realize that they may just be a vocal minority, but wow.

Thanks for the link. It was an interesting read that supported my speculation that some of these are easier/more difficult depending on region. For example, the author was leaning toward putting AOS #524 on his difficult list while I’ve seen that one pretty frequently. Such a fascinating series.
