  1. You can see title/number and date of publication before grades show up. So those errors could be nipped in the bud.
  2. Speaking of which, it was not only received but went all the way to verified today! Curious to see how long the prescreen takes My prescreen had been cut into two invoices for exceeding 25 books. Invoice 1 hit SFG today. Invoice 2 went all the way to graded/QC today! Of course, this is a con weekend so it likely won’t move again until Monday.
  3. Good luck, glad you’re getting back up and running!
  4. CGC’s current schedule does not have them setting up at Planet this year...
  5. Crossover Economy Received & verified 10/30
  6. Yep, these scratch the hunting/buying itch much more inexpensively!
  7. I’d thought about that. What Art Director is allowing covers with characters that have two left feet to get published? Aesthetics may be in the eye of the beholder, but basic anatomy isn’t.
  8. Agreed. For me DCUs are all about the thrill of the chase. I'd rather find them myself, though I will buy from other DCU addicts to support the cause. I agree that $10 is about my maximum though.
  9. Glad you had a good show Tony! I do miss our trips down for this one... I think that rep's attitude matches that for quite a few of the larger shows, that mostly focus on celebrities as a way to drive ticket sales. Stan Lee was probably the only comic guest that would have impacted ticket sales. I don't think we get these megashows like Fan Expo or Alamo without at least some celebrities headlining the guest list.
  10. The Facebook comments on this show are pretty savage. I realize that they may just be a vocal minority, but wow.
  11. Are there 5.5 fingers on that red/white guy’s right hand?
  12. Thanks for the link. It was an interesting read that supported my speculation that some of these are easier/more difficult depending on region. For example, the author was leaning toward putting AOS #524 on his difficult list while I’ve seen that one pretty frequently. Such a fascinating series.
  13. Just saw that dates had been announced, for the weekend after Fan Expo Dallas.
  14. wins, whether in PM or in thread. Timestamp (as best I can tell these days) determines the winner, defaulting to the thread in the event of a close call. Media mail shipping included in the price in the US. Because of the size of the lot I would not like to ship internationally, but if you are willing to pay the cost I guess I could. It won't be cheap. No returns unless you return the entire 61 books, and then only if I screwed something up. Paypal, checks, or MOs are acceptable payment. You get the following books in this lot for $80 now $75 shipped: Authority #1-24 Authority Vol. 2 #0-14 Revolution #1-12 2006-7 #1-2 Scorched Earth #nn Authority vs Lobo #1 More Kev #1-2 Jenny Sparks #1-4 All books are nice, those I checked are no worse than VF/NM with most straight NM.
  15. Last ACG book from this batch... Unknown Worlds #8 6.5 -- asking $12 + shipping A few corners missing on internal pages, but nothing anywhere near any artwork.
