  1. The Denver show changed it's name to Pop Culture Show, so that is probably related to that decision.
  2. This is all DCUs, the one exception would be the LOTDK #50 (I believe that this is the set that contains it).
  3. I’d agree. It’s pretty key for determining the tenor of that era, and kind of fits/bridges the similar focus in the first 5 issues of TOS/TTA. The monster in #3 is kind of a prototype for what comes later (and one of our first looks at the life on Planet X). (And if you ever part with that 8.0 #1 please keep me in mind.)
  4. As someone who has looked, very few Spidey Super Stories are common in grade.
  5. Well, the market is what the market is. The motivations behind these ever-increasing prices may be short sighted and ultimately ruinous, but the books are worth what people are willing to (quite probably eventually revealed to be stupidly) pay.
  6. A third large show for Chicago (I guess fourth with ACE), the second in the Stephens convention center in Rosemont. Home Page
  7. I've known him 28 years, so I guess I can vouch for him. Yes, do include a return policy, even if that policy is no returns on CGC slabs.
  8. Between my shipment from CGC and this purchase from eBay, it has been a good week. It isn't often that I get to do a @bc impersonation...
  9. I agree with all of this. The Hulk stories are consistently pretty good. The Subby stuff is good too. #70 is definitely underappreciated, as is #60. But the books are also fairly common, with a smaller collector base.
  10. Thanks! My first #107 was coverless as well (still have it).
  11. Just one book today, but it is a cool one! Just back from CGC. Book has been pressed by Joey. in the public thread works, as does a in a PM. I am willing to listen to offers via PM, but if the book sells in thread before we close a deal then the thread buyer wins it. If a deal is closed via PM then the book is sold. If a PM sale happens I will post it in the thread as soon as I possibly can. Timestamp will rule as best as it can. No HOS or PL members are allowed to buy, if you are on ignore you cannot buy, and I reserve the right to not sell to anyone who has cancelled a deal with me in the past. Payment via Paypal, check, or MO accepted. International buyers must pay via Paypal. Purchase price includes shipping in the US. International buyers are welcome, and will pay exact shipping to their location minus a $10 US credit. This book is a difficult one to value. Most recent GPA for this grade is $350 but that was back in April of 2015. A 6.0 sold in January for $289, but that seems too low to me. Recent sales on eBay include a 2.5 that sold for $127.50. Two copies are sitting on the exchange on Comiclink with $500+ asking prices. Let's start the action at $325 $280 shipped in the US and see how we go.
  12. My understanding is that any credit on your account would be applied at the time your card was charged. The online form isn’t smart enough to search for any credit.
