I thought books with his interior art were sought-after. But I'm glad you asked, because it gave me an excuse to look through my Rocketeer Artist Edition. Stevens was all-time master of the brush and storytelling:

Holy that "Girl Crazy" is terrible.. Must have been before DS found his stride. I think Dave found his stride well before 1996. He greatly admired both Hernandez bros. It's Dave Stevens inks over Gilberto's pencils.

No, it was a "Buy It Now" that got nabbed quickly. From what I can tell, it lasted less than two hours on ebay. I just figured it could have been one of us Dave fanatics.
