  1. eBay have discount on auction style item this week end if I remember well. The guy probably list his items higher than he thinks they costs. He have nothing to loose. However I do think the SC22 he is selling will be sold
  2. If you check here: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=I showflat&Number=3930313 Gemma said: Any book which is submitted with a signature on the front cover which is of a high grade will received the Green, Qualified label and the signature will not affect the CGC grade in any way. The green Qualified label will state that there is a name written on the cover and what the grade of the book would be if the signature were ignored. If the book has a signature on the front and is of a low grade it will receive a Blue, Universal label and the signature will affect the grade of the book (depending on the size, how much it disrupts the cover etc.). If the signature is on the interior of the book only, then it will receive a Blue Universal label regardless of grade and the signature will affect the grade of the book (less than if it were on the cover, however). As for the tear in the back, I would say it is consistent with the 4.0 grade. It may go down to 3.5. If you check sales during the last two months on Comiclink and GPA number, I would not spend more than 1500$ for this book
  3. I don't think it will come back as better than 4.5. And this is if it s not restored.
  4. I would say it's too risky. The guy never sold a big book. You don't start selling big books by a raw SC4.
  5. I almost bought the 7.5 at the last comic link and decided it was not an high priority book for me. If only it was cheaper...I would love to have one
  6. Alright coming back to the SC22. Do you think all the raw HG books (6.0+) has been found or not. I would think that the book will still raise until the second movie come out and then reach a plateau. But I do hope, people buy SC22 because they like green lantern and not only because of the movie. Green lantern has been the center of DC comics and their best sell for 2009 and 2010. They are releasing red lantern. With Flashpoint coming, do you guys think Flash becoming the center of the DC comics, the focus on GL will go down and prices will go down. It's a bit sad but I think prices are more dictated on the idea to flip a book than anything else now. And for this reason, media covering (movies, toys) are the king, not the books themselves.
  7. I am not sure it's the right place to post this in order to obtain an objective answer. Do you think the TOS39 has attained its peak in terms of value. I keep seeing them every where for sell now.
  8. Let's cheer DC's. Well, I don't think it's wrong in this post to talk about SC23 and 24. People who buy a SC22, normaly like Hal and those three books are kind of a set in my mind. I have all three. So for me, people gathering here are the same than the one who likes the SC23 and 24.
  9. I love this book. For me the SA Marvel are too much "hero" style. Loving horror books, TTA27 is my favourite Marvel SA key. I do like the ST110 and 115 but they dont have such a great cover. I tried to buy a TTA27 last month but prices are
  10. yes, by the boardie who snatched it off ebay Nice scan now and I wonder if the second buyer had second thoughts. I am pretty sure, it's gonna go for more than 2500$ For sure...but let's see if it breaks $6K for the seller to break even. I would bet less than 4K

  12. I like the shot you took of your SC22 for the club better than the scan. If you can make a better scan, the club can compare the two much better. Your copy does look better. The CL copy has tanning and lt/crm PQ which hurt that copy. It looks really nice. I guess it went down cause of the crease in the right corner (is it a crease? It looks like one).
  13. Bought two modern books which was supposed to be raw 9.8 and they got 9.8 from CGC. (thumbs u
  14. the savannah copy looks great. But it will be at premium price. I hope one of the guys here win it so that we can get an under copy on the market. I keep asking everybody and I can't find any copy Between showcase 4 and BB85, I start to think that they run away from me
  15. Can somebody tell me why there are only 7 Adventure 269 graded? First Aqualad?
  16. The savannah copy are being sold at Pedigree
  17. I didn't find the Showcase 4 in the upcoming auction of pedigree
  18. Well the gpa for 7 is around 300$ with one sell in 2008 and 2 in 2006 For 7.5, it s around 400. Far from the overstreet My favorite JLA book is the 22. Just gorgeous blue with the two GL in the front and the other hero in cages
  19. It's sad to see this thread on page 3 What do you guys think about JLA 3? it s really hard to find in 7 or more because the cover is mainly black. The gpa has few data but the sell are fluctuating a lot from 2005. Gpa prices are under the Overstreet. What do you think about the JLA 3, like it? May go up in prices? How much would you pay for a 7?
  20. I was surprised. I was looking for the first cover where Aquaman appears (including GA) and it's only in BB28. The first cover dedicated to him is Showcase 30. I love the SC30, I can't find anything in the 8.0 range.
  21. How do they do shows like that, subtitles or voice over? I will know once it's on tv but my guess both. I would be fun to hear japanese zombie
  22. Thanks, Well if somebody read this and have one to sell, PM me. I was watching Fox Japan and the show is actually coming to Japan pretty quick, 5th of November. That s much faster than usual
