  1. I can see someone getting a bunch of them signed and then flip them on eBay at a huge profit.
  2. I remember having trouble selling the Dark Avengers variant for $10. People are paying a lot of money based on a rumor. It would suck for them if it doesn't pan out.
  3. Dealers were selling Batman #1 for $15 - $20 at the Pittsburgh con. I went to a local store and paid cover price.
  4. I might be late to the party on this one but what is the deal with the relaunch of Detective comics? A run is going for a lot on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item2ebe7c4393&item=200764310419&nma=true&pt=US_Comic_Books&rt=nc&si=SyX5QSqRBNBdQxy2vWc7BUi8lLE%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc http://www.ebay.com/itm/DETECTIVE-COMICS-1-2-3-4-5-6-FIRST-PRINTS-NM-BY-TONY-DANIEL-THE-NEW-52-/180886174938?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item2a1da7fcda
  5. Does anyone know what shows Stan Sakai is attending this year?
  6. Yeah, 5 copies of WD and WD Weekly is a lot. He must be putting them away until they get hot and then unload them.
  7. My LCS is officially out of WD back issues. Someone came in this week and bought everything left plus all the multiple of WD Weekly. He also has 5 copies of each new issue on his pull list.
  8. Even though you confirmed the address with the buyer, it needs to say "confirmed address" under his address in the paypal payment. Otherwise they won't be able to do anything about it. I've had my own problems with buyers with zero feedback, they just don't pay for anything.
  9. I would make sure that its going to a confirmed address. Paypal won't cover you if it doesn't.
  10. We watched ALF as well but MacGyver could stop a bomb with a hockey ticket and turn a bicycle into a blow torch.
  11. Thanks to Mike and Dexter (thumbs u This finally arrived from the last legends signing. Thanks Sean (thumbs u
  12. Got this one back from Baltimore today. I was surprised that the cgc case was thicker than usual.
  13. That is an awesome sketch. I saw it on Bill's table. Congrats! (thumbs u
  14. I've been using bubble wrapped envelopes with a couple layers of cardboard on each side and I haven't had any problems. Something that I always do is to make sure that the cardboard is bigger than the books so that the edges are protected. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten books from eBay and the cardboard that some people use barely covers the book and the corners got all banged up. The worst shipping experience that I had with eBay was with a mint copy of Transformers #80. The guy said easily a 9.6. So the book arrives in a flat rate envelope with no bag and board. I kid you not. The insufficiently_thoughtful_person dropped the book in the envelope and wished it the best of the luck. Of course the book was ruined by the time it arrived after the postal service decided to fold it in half and roll it into my mail box. I filed a Paypal dispute and got my money back thankfully.
  15. Bought 2 TMNT SDCC Ashcans. Arrived in excellent condition. Great transaction! (thumbs u
  16. Great books, fast shipping, what more could you ask for?
  17. I know that some people have been looking around, as I have, but which size do you find works best for the Mouse Guard and the Stuff of Legends books? Awesome thread! Everyone needs to use it.
