  1. I take the train in New York every day and everyone pushes and is rude. People are packed in like sardines on a stuffy train with hardly any oxygen. Most of the time I find my nose within inches of someones armpit, and that person usually doesn't follow typical American hygiene, so, I get to smell what they ate for the past five days the whole train ride I think I am well prepared for what you are talking about at a comic con
  2. please just make sure you wear some deodorant and some clean clothes... every time i go to some kind of comic / video game / hobby convention - i feel like i will pass out. I bought my tickets a few weeks ago just to see him + get autographs. I've never been to a comic con before (as a buyer or fan), so I feel kind of weird going there for just that one reason (makes me feel like a stalker). If he's not there - that will surely ruin my day/weekend. -Pete

  4. it could be in a tough economy, submissions for ANY valuable comics go up because people are hoping for a lottery ticket?

  7. Six years ago, I sold all my comics and original comic art to start my business. A month ago, I accidentally got into this forum and was reminded that my favorite childhood heroes had a comic book. I kinda knew that they had a comic when I was younger. However, it was soon forgotten because the comic was out of my price range at that time. So I spent nights reading all the TMNT posts on the forum and constantly harassing other forum members for their knowledge and advice. After weeks of research and finally coming to a conclusion of what grade I should get, the exact comic show up on the bay a couple days later. And without further delay, I introduce my first comic in 6 years and first slabbed book ever, my first TMNT #1: Thank you to all the members who took the time to pm me back and answer all my questions.
