I have a short box of stuff I need to move - mostly under copies to my Iron Man run but also a smattering of other issues as well (Moon Knight and other issues I'm not sure why I even have). No major keys. I've had a few sales through VCC and purchased from many of you. This will be a slow roll of a thread. So off to the rules: 1. Work is eating up my Saturday but I was able to get out early and visit Zapp Comics in Wayne, NJ. The place was packed with about 60 people in line before they opened at 8 am. The initial wave of folks (which I wasn't in - I wasn't in the store until about 8:30) really cleaned the place out and they did a great job trying to restock back issue bins. There was plenty of marvel/dc FCB by the time I got into the store but TMNT and some of the smaller publishers were really limited. The sale at the shop included 50% off wall books which was mostly just slabs. Folks were stocking up on runs from the back issue bins. They didn't have much on my want list but my two kids (who I think were the first kids under the age of 10 in the store that morning) were happy with what they found. When I left around 9:15 am, there was another 40 people waiting in line - including a lot of young adults and families.

Grades finally in (as I find more and more ways to avoid my deadlines for the day).

Where's the color touch on the cover?

Clifton is my local con and I try to get there every 2 or 3 months. I've heard that each month is a bit different in terms of what sells. Some months, $1 books are what move. Other months, wall books in the 50-100 range go well. There's usually a few dealers with some monster books but it feels like a mid-level show in terms of money/value. I typically arrive at the show in the afternoon and feel like most dealers have already made their money by the time I get there. Let us know when you setup and if you're not sold out by the time I get there, I'll say hi!
