  5. Great book, there is a companion book that goes with it.
  6. Had this.Wasn't it limited to something like 5000 copies? Even scarier is why do I remember that?
  7. So, does the horse not have a head or is he a centaur? Amish centaur maybe?? Looks a lot like something similar from Eclipse that I remember.
  8. I've actually got the full run of this.7 or 8 issues.I believe a later issue introduced Sea Dragon who got a couple of issues of his own.
  9. L.B.Cole is quickly becoming my favorite GA artist, thanks in no small part to this thread,Passing Schomburg & closing in on Baker.Only have o couple of his covers but they are all so great. Keep 'em coming!
  10. Ohman.I actually had some of these back when they came out.kinda wish I had kept them. Wizard of Time fits right in there.Ran 3 issues. The art was really simple but the story wasn't half bad.
  11. Dan Curtis giveaways.Been wanting a set of these for quite a while now. Does anyone know how these were distributed? All I could find was something about bubble gum .And just what did Dan Curtis have to do with them anyway?I know about the TV connection but Turok & Grimm never made it to TV.
  12. 7.Will we ever see the next chapter?
  13. I should say! They look pretty early. What year/printing are they?
  14. Ashcans weren't really being produced in 1983, so that would be an oddity. Maybe it was something produced for a DVD release? I have an Ashcan sized "Land of the Giants" #1 that has the Gold Key logo and everything. It was produced for a DVD. DG I passed on it but I will pick it up during the Christmas break. I still can't find any info on it anywhere. Do you have a scan or something? I wasn't even aware an ashcan existed. No. It was a typical ashcan. IIRC the cover was on yellow stock. Black only printing, not color. It wasn't typical for 1982 & 1983. It could have been created to promote Pacific at conventions. If your discovery is true, collectors would have viewed it as something easy to bootleg/fake and not had a lot of confidence in it as a collectible. DG I'll post scans of it when I pick it up in a few weeks. My Christmas break started this past weekend, so I'm still looking forward to seeing the scan of this. I like rarities and oddities. DG My Christmas plans have changed so it may be another month or so before I can get back to pick it up. You better let me pick it up for you then. Someone else might grab it in the meantime. Nobody is going to get it. Trust me. So DIce,ever pick up that ashcan?
  15. I've got a Steve Canyon file copy with the info penciled on the top of the first page so that doesn't sound a lot like a warehouse copy.I'll have to go find it and check out the pq.Can't remember much about it. Saw a whole bunch of pre/early code romance on ebay but never pulled the trigger on any of them, much to my regret.
  16. Got some sweet Bronze F4 books from Chris on the Pay It Forward thread.Everything went perfectly. Thanks man
  17. I've always wondered why Deadpool's second appearance is so worthless.Should be worth 3 or 4 bucks at the least?!?
  18. Will do but it may be late tomorrow. Wow.Forgot all about this.Quite a bit late but here are the promised images from the Blade Runner book.
  19. The Ghostly Tales #113 has a killer b&w story that goes with the cover in it.Had it scanned at one time.
  20. Glad you mentioned this,I found the seller and picked up a set myself.Hope I get as lucky as you on the condition. He listed another 10 so that makes at least 40 he had. I sure would like to know print runs and or sales on the Eclipse/First/Pacific/Etc...lines.
  21. IMO one of the best covers ever and the story arc with SS in right up there too.It is the first comic I ever ordered from a back issue house.I had gotten #191 & 192 off the rack as a kid but could never find this one. Finally got enough cash scrapped together to do an order from Richard Alf a few years later. Pure Bronze goodness
  22. $150 to maybe $500 on the Welsh etching from past sales. The Carrasco is an unknown with a couple of examples on ebay that remain unsold at around $2500,so figure somewhere less than that. Also found a couple of Audubon prints that had been "slightly" trimmed to fit the frames so that about halved the value right there. Not rare ones, they were stamped Coverdale collection.
