  1. First print Fireside,Heart Throbs. Can't believe I was the only bidder. In great condition too.
  2. I told him that book would not sell for $50. Not yet, anyway. Ah well, life goes on.Just glad it went into such an awesome collection.
  3. From probably the past couple of years.Found them at a Family Dollar store. Are they considered second prints or variants? Are they worth anything? The middle books look like Marvel Adventure book,I've not taken them out to check.
  4. Need centerfold for Fritzi Ritz nn Special Fall issue 1948 if anyone has one.
  5. Someone posted the National Lampoon issue a couple weeks ago, and I wondered if any copies of this PC catalog still existed. I remember getting it in the mail around 1977-78 or so. It was the first real catalog I had received, and I blown away by the contents and the cover. This was a BIG catalog, and producing it at the time was no small feat. I wish I knew where my copy went. This also came with a Jeff Gelb bio sheet. It's also serves as a COA that it came from the Jeff Gelb collection and is signed by him.Probably doesn't increase the value but I like it.
  6. Very sweet portfolio. The more I see Severins' art today the better I like it.I've noticed they did some great covers for Marvel back in the 70's.
  7. Very swet Point Five. And they look great. That Jan.Startling cover is a true classic & at the top of my list. And I love the old sci-fi stories as well.Tons of great reading.
  8. I'm a bottom feeder so condition isn't always my top priority.Had this one for a few months. Got these 2 from flying-donut awhile back Not a pulp but for 2 bits at a yard sale, what the heck? My dozen arrieved today.Man I love this stuff. The Startling are my favorites.Bergey art is so clean, reminds me a lot of Schomburg.Of course,Vrigil Finley isn't one to sneeze at either!
  9. Gotta love mixed lots with generic descriptions.Got these 3,along with 3 very ratty Lost in Space GK books and a Death Of Superman tpb for the goodly sum of $16.62 and free shipping. Right in the middle of my favorite DD run. Not the good one but still a keeper for less than 3 bucks.Sorry for the grainy scan.I also up the contrast so it would show up better. Here is the one I was after.Baker cover & art on 2 stories.About VG- but I'm a bottom feeder anyway
  10. Super cheap buy.A little "fragile" so I scanned it in the bag. From the same seller for the same price.Awsome copy.Tight, clean, incredible gloss on the cover and very supple pages. Got about a dozen earlier ones that should be here in another week or so.
  11. Hey Toz.... These are actually all signed and numbered. If you look about 2/3 the way in, there's a text page. That's where they're signed. I just went back and checked all these again and no sigs on the 2 Hamster books.
  12. 16 page giveaway.Terry & The Pirates,Donald Duck and lots more cool stuff.
  13. John made my first VCC buy a very happy transaction. The boooks were outstanding and the shipping was lightning fast.Look forward to dealing with you again!!!
  14. Had this one for a few months & finally dug it out to scan. Not Frazetta but still cool. Got this one off Ebid, the other auction site.Suzie comics tend to sell a bit higher but I scored this one for $15.
  15. Recently got these in a lot with a few Bronze & Silver mixed in for good measure.Total cost:14 cents each. Note the Gulacy cover on Black Diamond #2 and the sweet Sterenko cover for The Fly #2.I already had all the Pacific & Nexus books but these are my first AC & Red Circle books.Really like the AC stuff.Hats off to Mr.Black
  16. Is that actually a record? Yes,actually an old school 12" LP.I bet it would sound good on my 1984 Kenwood component stero if the speakers wern't blown.
  17. Just got this one today for my Fritzi Ritz collection.Mmmmmmmm
  18. A couple of months ago a seller was selling a whole bunch of Eclipse books and I won about 20 of them. They were taking requests for other Eclipse books and would list them on a BIN for an agreed upon price.Out of curisoity I asked if they had any of the 2D books. This is what they had for about $9 each: I got them all. Interior pics of each. The only one signed is the 3D Alien Terror.Go figure. It's also the lowest grade with a smudge to the top right corner and one corner of the spine is bent.Still, very happy to have them.
  19. Ahhh.Copper Age goodness. This completes my Scout set. It's unopened Mint, still in the plastic.
  20. Fresh out of the mailbox today. Slightly less fresh books from Saturday delivery.
  21. Got this one today. While not a real "Hot" title,I was very pleased and surprised by the condition. One non color breaking wave on the spine.
  22. Thought I'd make my first post worthwhile with some scans of recent GA books I've picked up.Nothing expensive, just cool old books. With the original mailer
