Returns accepted within 7 days This is a nice item that fits in a Timely, GA or poster collection. Original poster is 27"x41" (about 33 1/2"x47" framed) and has been linen-mounted. Poster was printed by the Morgan Litho Corp. of Cleveland, OH. This is a rare poster from 1944 for Chapter 1, The Purple Death, and features nice graphics including large full body image of Captain America with gun rescuing female lead Lorna Gray from The Scarab's laboratory as gas canisters fill the room w/poisonous gas, aka the Purple Death. Poster was originally folded and has since been linen-mounted w/professional restoration including margin touch-ups and restoration along fold line and at fold crease intersections and area in letter M in America and small spot on Captain America's head. Displays excellent and now comes beautifully conservation matted and framed under UV glass. See the pics for more details. $7500 $7000

Condition is good overall with marginal tears and chips; spine has archival tape so likely from a bound volume. See the pics for more details on condition. This is considered the second appearance of this comic character which predated his newspaper appearances. $650 $500

Here is a RARE item for all of you Timely or Cap collectors. This is an original yearbook from Joe Simon's senior year. He graduated in Jan 1932 from Benjamin Franklin High School in Rochester NY. The yearbook is filled with Joe's artwork and photos. Plus his senior year photo is prominently displayed along with his accomplishments. Many pages feature Joe's artwork, group photos, and even a "Rogues Gallery" page with a photo of a little boy on a pony labelled "Joe S". I have included only a few of the pages related to Joe. A fascinating look at the artistic accomplishments already on display and who within 10 years would have co-created Captain America. Signatures from other students on various pages. CF loose but in overall VG condition. VERY RARE $850

Thoughts on the PCH auction at PBA? https://www.pbagalleries.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/507/ I thought the high grade books went for strong prices
