  1. Another one that I just sold recently - back to the Platinum Age where Bud Fisher dedicated the first copy of Mutt and Jeff Book 1 to his mother (along with a pasted over photo of himself - probably his Mother's favorite pic I would imagine).

  3. Set of 4 Bud Fisher PRESENTATION COPIES to his mother. These are from Ball Publishing (1910-1915). Not only are they unique presentation copies - they are THE FIRST COPIES OFF THE PRESS. HISTORICALLY IMPORTANT!! These come in a beautiful custom clam-shell presentation box for preservation. Oblong size. Some wear overall but in much better condition than typically found. For the set of the four copies and clam-shell presentation box - $750 firm on this one SOLD

The first issue of this long running men's magazine was the only one illustrated by the great comic book artist famous for his GGA. St John's answer to Playboy. Baker contributed to only the first issue before the untimely death of Archer St John. St John's son Michael took over and Baker and all of his father's associates were out. This is for 3 issues of #1 ranging from VG to near FN. $150 for all SOLD

Great Rita Hayworth cover but also includes a specially commissioned piece by Siegel and Shuster titled "How Superman Would Win the War". This issue when found is usually in beat up condition with the black cover showing every crease and defect. This issue appears to have been unread with the black cover looking as nice as I have ever seen it. $400 $300

  15. Ok trying this one more time with better pictures. Just got this issue in and was wondering what you all think. Main defects are the cover tears - FC is slight up by the text on the right, BC is larger at the outer edge. Do you think it is worth getting pressed - and if so what bump to expect? Scott
