That CC photo makes the colors on their copy look sooo much brighter. Unless the colors are just that immaculate. I mean looks fresh off the newsstand. I’d probably pay more for it to with those colors.
scan enhancements or just the way the scanner produces the image ? even the CGC label seems more vivid
we've seen time and again, even here on the boards, sellers changing scanners as the end result is not reflective of reality.

The article said $69,600 in November of 2011
would no doubt hit 6-figures today

and finally, the original IM1 9.9 is better centered on back cover.
Still an awesome piece to own, congrats to your friend.

GPA doesn't even have a 9.9 recorded.
pretty sure the IM1 9.9, IMSM 1 9.9, Cap 100 9.9 etc went to auction on Comiclink some years back

Listed mine (CGC 6.5 off-white pages and great looking for the grade) for sale over at Comic Link
I think your asking price is overly optimistic given the results of the past months but I wish you good luck in the sale.

Look forward to seeing what the Tec 27 sells for.
Seems like only AC1 and Tec27 are immune to current market slump so it will certainly do well.
I would not currently place high estimates on any other books though.

Hey @Gotham Kid;
A courtesy heads up to a long time fellow boardie here just in case you wanted to grab another copy of this book in your attempt to corner the market on this rare HTF book:
https://www.comicconnect.com/item/989009
A steal of a deal at only $5,700 plus the 15% BP juice, and now I fully understand why you sold off a couple of your pre-Robin 'Tec books.
Thanks Dean. My end goal is to corner the market indeed. I cannot get enough of this book.
Once I have them all will light up one massive bonfire.

Can you prove that it was the Raymond Miller (whomever you are referring to) and not some other Raymond Miller from the time ?
Guessing Raymond Miller is a pretty common name, not like if it had a name stamp Property of Eldon Dedini or something.

isn't there is a close relationship between QES and CC just like there is one with CVA and HA ?
has anyone actually seen the CC copy in person to confirm the bright(er) colors or not ?
