    Hello. The Allentown no longer resides in a 9.6 holder but instead resides in a CGC 9.8 holder and yes it is the single highest graded Captain America Comics #1 issue.

    Correct (owned by the late John Verzyl) but scan never actually posted on the boards, at least not publicly. The 9.4 is owned by boardie sartre, along with many other fine books. Been a long time I haven't seen him post in Gold.

    Not at all. My post was about the same book having sold yet again. New sale price is highest on record but in perspective not all that interesting. What's more interesting is the amount of times the book has sold imo.
