  1. looks like color touch above letters PLA and the women's arm, some on the spine too. cool book !
  2. I am with you on registry set recognition/praise but honestly I don't see CGC putting it in place. One would also have to factor in the space any/all comments would take up and that could mean a complete re-design of the GUI. A "like system" would take up a whole less space but yeah I get your idea of adding a personal touch to it over a simple mouse click.
  3. Wouldn't it be better to leave that to a moderator, but allow the set owner to report a post they don't like? I might want to comment in jest, and some people can't handle that. "Sweet set but your missing issues 1 - 27..." or "Weak, those are all restored..." Which is why I keep my Action set obscured!!! Either way I don't see it happening. At best, they would introduce a "like" system the way it was introduced on the boards. Oh and why would I be missing issues 1-26 when the set name is "Detective 27-200" Those fall under the "Detective Complete" set.
  4. In the eventuality that this feature is implemented, registry set owners should have the possibility to accept and/or reject comments made on their sets.
  5. Have them list a book I need or that I'd like to upgrade.
  6. Agreed. soft soft price and might not have been wise to end it on a Thursday morning for eBay. Scam. Hijacked account. Look at seller feedback. Reported the item but eBay didn't take it down.
  7. C/OW ofc I'd prefer OW or better but with GA you can't afford to be too picky.
  8. if at first you don't succeed, shill, shill again.
  9. sales I know of: last year 380K prior to that 270K ( bought by board member ) prior to that 205K (as a 2.5) sold as a 1.5 for 84K (Heritage)
  10. Sale listed just now (pre-arranged) Let's see. 410K (record sale for this book) but if you factor in the 10%, gives roughly what owner paid for (380K) 1 yr ago. http://comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch_adv.asp%3Fall%3Dy%26TITLE%3D%26TITLEOPT%3DALL%26ISSUE%3D%26Condition%3D%26ConditionTo%3D%26CensusRank%3D%26Pedigree%3D%26PRICEF%3D500%26PRICET%3D%26DESCRIPTION%3D%26DESCRIPTIONOPT%3DALL%26SearchRemarks%3D%26SearchCGC%3D%26EXCLUDE%3D%26CATEGORIES%3D-1%26WCATEGORIES%3D-1%26SORT%3DNEW%26_where_forsale%3Dy%26_where_auctions%3Dy%26x%3D17%26y%3D10%26where_forsale%3Dy&id=1293507 This copy has been around more often than it should.
