  1. It should be obvious Walking Dead 1 9.9 ?
  2. Those mosaic pieces take 100-150 hours to complete, far from a computer program His pieces are owned by Stan Lee, Todd McFarlane, Frank Miller, Kelly Jones to name a few. His pieces sell for 30-50K, far from a computer program, But you are entitled to your opinion. If you don't like them I respect your opinion. Hope you have a great day Never mind the troll. Cool pics posted. And welcome.
  3. Tec 62 9.4 $77,101 Tec 71 9.4 $66,000 Definitely 2 stars in this auction. Well done to buyer.
  4. Last night's ComicConnect results: Tec 29 7.5 A-5 23K ( slightly on the low end imo, having 2 copies in same auction didn't help ) Tec 29 6.5 Conserved 42.5K (this was previously a sp 5.5 that ended at 31K or thereabouts in a past CC auction ) Tec 36 4.5 "D copy" 30K Tec 37 5.5 23.6K
  5. Now that the last CC auction is over, top picks for the year were: ( 2 upgrades and 1 new addition )
  6. Don't know exact number but I think it was over 500K
  7. It's up there with the Tec 27 9.4 MP sold by Dave and Adams.
  8. Agree with this. This book was exceptional. Thought it would have gone up to 750K.
  9. Yes, better cover. +1 I've always loved the cover for 'Tec 71 with the big Joker image and always wanted to find a really nice one at a reasonable price for my personal collection back in the day. The 62 is destroying the 71. Currently at 61.5 vs 33.5 Funny thing is a 62 9.4 was listed forever on Heritage with a BIN of 38K.
  10. yup CL seller is certainly keeping a close watch on the auction. Expect something (price hike or sale) to happen minutes after the CC auction ends.
  11. I posted something actually defending the name as I thought it was based on the name of the first sponsor, but it looks like my understanding is incorrect and there's no good reason for the name. http://www.theoleballgame.com/why-do-we-call-the-final-baseball-series-the-world-series.html I guess even though the championship is disputed only by Americans and Canadians (?), the winning team can in essence be considered the world's best as I don't think any country in the world has the level to compare. So congrats to the Houston Astros, the Best in the World !
  12. Awarded only to World Champions, like the Astros. Happy Houston won your baseball championship. Loved Houston when I was there. Also loved Austin.
