    It was the Larson Batman1 8.0 being offered at 800K. This is a different copy. Also, it is a consignment.

    Believe it or not, I bought entire lots ( sometimes 20-30 books ) just to get a hold of a few missing issues. The plus side was I'd get to select the better looking keepers from the duplicates.

    Bummer, these are the issues I need to find to complete the set 8, 14, 20, 21, 33, 40, 43, 53, 66, 71, 73, 74, 84, 129, 159, 163, It took me time and effort to put the collection together and here it is being offered in 1-shot

    We'll see how the CC 2.5 copy performs. Pretty copy shame Brittle pages though (though slight B compared to full B on the 1.8 copy)

    The 1.8 sold for $25,250 in 2017. I'd say closer to 30 (than 40) today as Brittle keeps most away.

    Actually no, the AS3 Billy Wright copy is the record holder. 200K 1 week after auction ended. Same copy re-sold for $72,000 in 2019
