I'm going to have to dust off the ole collection someday and fill this thread up with some more Tick goodies
A dusty Tick collection is unacceptable and a direct violation of the membership code. Expect a visit from Tick Protective Services (TPS) to remove the collection from the home.
Now where's my TPS uniform.

FYI comics4less on eBay has listed a ton of SA (and earlier) westerns. Many photo covers and Frazetta's

Nice work!
When I see them all together, does anyone else besides me think that all the others are pooping in Spiderman's web-hammock?

Pics of the "Specials" and "Super Specials" --
I almost have a full run of these. When it gets into the early '80s, they stopped numbering the specials and I don't think they put much effort into including bonuses either (though some of the record inserts get very inspired, with "Super Spectacular Day" being a favorite). That's roughly where my interest wanes on collecting them.
Wowie wow-wow

For some reason I thought it would be a fun idea to hold on to all the Obama covers Mad released. This is not for political reasons (I am nonpartisan) but just because I thought it would be interesting. Unfortunately I have already missed one and don't feel particularly compelled to track it down (though it would probably be easy to do so). But here are the 4 in my collection. No political comments please!
Haha no politics on the board!! Really sweet collection!! Curious if you have the Spider-Man ones too?

Just got this guy back from CGC.
MAD #364 Signed by Larry Thomas aka the Soup Nazi
Larry said that he has never signed a copy of this mag before. He told me when he was signing it that the when he saw the cartoon version (Parody) of himself.. was one of his proudest moments of his professional career. He said that to be depicted in a magazine as iconic as Mad, was something he never dreamed was possible when he started acting. Funny, I thought that his role on Seinfeld and his popular saying "No soup for you" has become part of Americana. But he did not seem to agree. he was very humble, and a pleasure to talk to
So cool!!

My regular issue run goes from #44 to present and I'm only missing 3 books in the middle. The run is otherwise complete in that I have every alternate or variant copy of every issue.
My Super Specials are complete from 1 through 57 and I'm only missing a handful through present.
I also have a lot of foreign issues including the first British issue and first Quebec issue. I also have a very large run of the Australian issues.
Additionally I have almost full runs of all the offshot titles, including More Trash, Follies, Wost From, Collector Classics, Gross Outs, XL, etc, etc, etc. Also a lot of the big books.
I'd like to end up with full runs of everything, and I have a pretty good jump on it.
Wow!

Most sources point towards it being the Flash Thompson version, as its stand alone and they aren't going to do the Symbiote going from Peter to Venom origin.
Who knows though, I doubt the public even knows there's more than 1 venom.
Well, I'll just wander down to the shop and get the 1st Flash Thompson then.....
Actually.... I've had my eye on these for a while but then the Agent Venom character sort of fizzled out for me once he went to space but there's a sort of Hulk 180/181 situation with
ASM 654 (noted as 1st time Flash becomes Venom) but its a brief part of the book. Its also got this amazing 2nd Print, which I've never seen without tics or close to a 9.8. One sold on the GPA for $190 way before any movie news.
Then there's 654.1 which has a full Venom/Flash story.
Or maybe this book I've always loved for the cover/design catches fire, or one of the Venom #1 Pink Cover 4th Prints.
Venom Flashpoint #1 (Collects 654, Venom 1, 654.1)
