  1. Hugh Jackman And Liev Schreiber Have Talked About Sabretooth Returning For Wolverine 3

The actor has repeatedly hinted at an Old Man Logan adaptation coming to fruition but no one knows if that will indeed be the plot of Jackman's grand finale and, even if it is, what actors and characters will be joining him for the swan song?

Well, maybe Liev Schreiber's Sabretooth might be tossed into the mix. On the red carpet for the Oscar's yesterday MTV's Josh Horowitz caught Schreiber and asked him if there's any chance of him returning to the X-Men universe for Wolverine 3. "We've talked about it," Schreiber said, referencing himself and Jackman.

"I don’t know. He’s mentioned it to me," the actor went on. "The Old Man Logan story — that’s appealing. That’s something that I can do. Old, being the operative word."

    That would be awesome! :cloud9:

  2. My nearest comic shop is 1100 km away. We usually go there once a year, I always buy a 10 or so of old issues just for reading. I love looking back through at the pictures and articles. Never owned any of the first 10 issues. I would love to pick some up on eBay (ESP #1) but I have a low comic budget and shipping is always so high. One of these days I will get one.

Yeah never see any Wizards in my LCSs anymore (or any other magazines for that matter). I guess the eBay hunt is on!

  3. I love this crossover with the Flash, it's nice to see that they're not ignoring the CW like the movie universe does. I'd still like to see Tom Welling on the silver screen as Superman. I heard that they're casting someone else as the Flash in the Justice League - WTF DC!

It'd be kind of cool to be part of one connective universe like Marvel, but its not all done by one studio the way marvel does it, meaning there's different bosses. And they'd constantly be compared to marvel in terms of MCU, and they probably are afraid they can't do it as well, which is probably true.

Additionally, you lock yourself into and out of specific storylines when its all one big universe, ESPECIALLY when you have (at least) 5 ongoing episodic 22 episodes per season stories going on at once. Keeping continuity with movies would be a nightmare. Marvel has 1.5 network tv shows (both on ABC which is a sister company), and Agent Carter takes place in a fairly distant past, with the Netflix shows being shorter and more tightly controlled and limited in scope, without having to burn a new villain/hero every single week. This is a LOT easier to manage.

DC wants to rule comics TV, and for now it does, even though they bricked on Constantine.

To me, there's much more potential downside than upside for a DC connected movie and tv universe.

Those are some really good points and I hope DC is putting that much thought into it

I wonder what Marvel will do with their continuity when some actor's contracts expire. Will there be a reboot, or will they follow the comics and put someone new in the suit?

  4. Not sure what the Affleck fall was. If the worst era of a man's life is that he's making millions still and smashing Jennifer Lopez, that sounds like winning to me.

We are going to win when we get a Affleck directed DC film. I'm not talking about BvS because I haven't seen it but the weak link to me is Snyder. He's just not that great, or rather, he's great at some things but not good enough at other (for me),

I also think Affleck was snubbed for a supporting nomination for Hollywoodland, he was PHENOMENAL in that.

I will admit that Paycheck and Changing Lanes were boring as hell.

He was good as Daredevil too ;) There was a lot of hate for that movie when it came out, but I think ppl were just on the Affleck-hate-train at that time. Kevin Smith did a good job, I don't get it (shrug) Then again maybe it was Gigli? Gigi? Gilgi? whatever that movie was called...
