Sweet! A thread i havent posted this in yet!!!

What a great freaking day!!! 1st i get my pedigree Avengers 2 and annual 3. Then i come home from work and my new Giant-Man statue that i got off eBay last week was waiting at the door for me. I've wanted it for a LONG time and finally found a pretty cheap BIN where the shipping wasnt like $50. So psyched! I now have all of Pyms heroes(and Vision who he created) The Giant-Man is freaking awesome and HUGE. other than my Great Ultron statue its almost twice as big as any other i have. I always thought the Goliath one on the back right was monstrous but this thing makes it look like Baby-Man! AWESOME! Ant-Man, Vision, Yellowjacket, Giant-Man and Goliath

He hasn't even nominated you for the PL. You gotta take it easy. Your best bet: give the guy a full refund, and ask him to return the comics. I highly doubt he's trying to switch them on you. But if he is, he won't get away with it. If you get the comics back and they've been switched, bring it up here and he'll get crucified. If he never returns the comics, bring that up as well and he'll be in deep doo doo. Worst case scenario, you've taken the high road for a small price. As a seller, you'll run into these situations from time to time. If you place any value on your time, you'll just offer a full refund in exchange for the comics being returned. And don't promise that your raw comics will grade out at 9.8 unless you're ready to stand behind that 100%. Just say you think so, but you can't say for sure. +1 This is good advice! Unless I'm wrong, I don't remember seeing you on the boards before the last couple months even though you've been a member for years. From what I've seen though, you seem like a good guy and that you're on the up and up. I believe you that either something is fishy or probably more likely, you BELIEVE something is fishy. Either way, like speedy said just take the high road and give the guy what he wants. It's a win win for you. You're done with him and you look good to everyone. It's like a $20 sale so I doubt that's really gonna make any difference in your life. Be glad it wasn't some 4,5,6 figure deal with something like this that might actually have made an impact in your life. Give the guy what he wants and just chalk it up to " the sellers always right even when they aren't" and a learning experience and move on. You're gonna make a bunch more sales here so take the $6 high road and I'm sure that you'll more than make it up in the future. I'm all for sticking to your principles but is $6 really worth dragging this into something that could possibly cost you future sales here?

Hey, it wouldn't be the 1st time a book was switched. I'm not saying it happened but it certainly has before. Post the pic from your sales thread and the pic he sent you after receiving it and let's see what it looks like. On a side note, I'm not a modern guy but it seems like a VERY bad idea to even intimate that a book WILL get a 9.8 to a buyer who expressly wants a 9.8. Nobody can guarantee that. If they HAVE to have a 9.8, buy it slabbed otherwise go into it knowing there's at least a decent chance it isn't going to happen

Just got this in hand today! Two layers of pure awesomeness for me. Not only is it a SWEET 9.8 for my Pedigree run. It also bumps me up to #1 in the Avengers 92-200 Registry set for the moment!

Mass copies Thanks! My only other Mass copy is a $50 Hulk 164 and this my 1st Avengers Mass book I think my Avengers Pedigree run now has either 13 or 14 different Pedigrees.

Just got these in hand! The comic gods had my back on this one since i missed the regular 9.4 #2 in the November Clink power outtage fiasco clearing the way for a Pedigree copy! The Annual 3 also puts me in 1st place in the Avengers 92-200 registry! Not only is that an INSANELY huge honor for me as big of an Avengers fan as i am but to be ahead of a COMIC GOD like Ghost Town in ANYTHING is just un-frikken-believable!!!

you are such a lying tool! First off, Flat rate boxes would be cheaper if you are mailing slabs real far, mailing slabs from Michigan to California is cheaper than by weight. Second, the post office HAS to carry both sets of boxes not just flat rate. Don't lie to make yourself look good. Why do you have to insult the P.O? Yes I work for the P.O and they have treated me great and I treat everyones parcels as I would want mine to be treated I do care about my job and my customers, yes there are bad apples in the P.O just like another job. Boy you are mighty hostile... to another USPS employee. I've been a Rural Carrier since 1991, I think I know well what my PO here carries out front. I have been to five PO's around here, I live close to one, drive by one going to work, and the main office in town I go to regularly to ship things. I have had many opportunities to look in the lobbies for Priority boxes, and have asked about the #1095/1092/1097/1093's which I need. They all tell me that they only carry what they have, and cannot get others. That is their story, and I believe it. In my office where I work, the management decides what to carry, they order what they want to. There are no magic rules about what all offices have to do, that's a myth if you think that. Sorry Don Clearly you and the bunch of other people that said the same thing you did are all lying tools out to besmirch the good name of the PO as part of your master plan of god knows what!
