What's the story? Is it yours? 2011 Wizard World Chicago CGC Boardie dinner at Gibsons steak house. I walk in and introduce myself to the only two boardies there. CentaurMan strikes up a conversation with me and then asks if I want to see his Action #1? I say yes of course. Then he asked if my hands were clean? I did not understand why at first. He then begins to pull it out of the mylar!!!!!!! I got real nervous, I had a long island iced tea in front of me, I was in awe. I actually read the whole Superman story and flipped through the rest of the book. I do believe that is and always will be my most treasured memory about comic collecting.

This guy probably had his picture taken 200 times.

Nightcrawler caught me checking his girl out, I was just trying to see if those were leggings or blue body paint, since her face matched her legs so well.

I think these ladies were mad at me. After I took for their picture, I asked who they were suppose to be? The one gave me a nasty look and the other just walked away. I guess they weren't in costume

I am at work again. Third time today!!!

There are never any guaranteed wins when it comes to SC's auctions...a high proportion of their books go for considerably over GPA. I have gotten lucky in the past. Most of the books I bid on have no GPA data or none recent in that grade.. So I am assuming what market value is. Some books I was the under bidder, others I was off by almost 50%.

I lost every Sparkle City auction I bidded on yesterday. Should have bid just a little higher.
