  1. Good Evening Comic Nerds
  2. Nice (thumbs u My wife said I wasn't allowed to brag about it on facebook. So I am bragging about it here. I have worked very hard for this car and I am very proud of it. Details Well it is a 1LT Grand Sport, that means there is nothing nice in the interior. However I ordered it in a manual transmission, with a hard top and the Magnetic Ride Control Suspension. (Corvette ZR1 and Cadillac CTSV) When they are ordered in that combo you get a hand built motor, the ZO6 dry sump oil system, (which allows the car to be lowered because there is no oil pan and prevents oil starvation in tight corners) also comes with an oil cooler and a differential cooler. Plus the second generation super car tires. My old vette was much faster, but this one will handle the race track much better and the ZO6 brakes, wheels and tires will allow for far better braking and traction.

  4. So I have found myself at work again with free time, maybe I will frequent this thread again with my useless information and dumb questions, mixed in with plenty of pics and gifs to boost my post count!!!
  5. I just submitted 30 books to PGX!!!
  6. These were really cool, did not know they were reprints till I got them home. I never really thought about books from the mid 50's being reprinted in the late 50's This one caught my eye by how good of condition it is. nn from 1947, give away in popped wheat cereal. They had a Tracy book from popped wheat also, I am kicking myself in the butt for not grabbing that comic too.
  7. It is usually 1-2 weeks from the time they post the grade till you get your books. Not that bad, to encapsulate, double check and ship Registered.
  8. If you ever run a business, please consult an attorney before using this opinion, or it will cost you extremely large amounts of money to find out that the rest of the world, business and the law stand 100% on the other side of the issue from you. You are such an hole, yet I find some of your posts down right hysterical!!
  9. Terrible scan, but cool book
  10. Robert, is a great boardie for a Canadian....... Communicates well, pays fast and is a great negotiator. Can't wait to do business with him again.
  11. What can I say about Ronnie that no one else already has? He has great taste in comics, communicates well and pays fast! Well I guess that has all already been said....... oh well. I said it all again.
  12. Excellent communications and fast payments. Cannot ask for anything more out of a boardie.
  13. That is an awesome cover!
  14. Come on that book deserves a BETTER picture It is not at my house yet, waiting on the post man to bring it to me.
  15. I really wanted to join the club. I have a handful more tec's and bat's from the late 40's that I hope to get graded in Chicago. I will post scans when I get them.
  16. Andrew sold me a book. He can package them well, he can ship fast and he can communicate much better than some of us. A++ in my book (thumbs u
  17. No one cares about 9.8 white page silver age pedigrees, they are a dime a dozen That issue 57 is absolutely spectacular, even compared to the others Congratulations
  18. Presents much nicer than a 4.0. And as long as you like the book and paid a fair price that's all that matters! SLR I think it is CGC's scan. I thought the book would come back as a 3.5, so I am very happy with a 4.0 It seems since I have started collecting golden age books I have the lowest graded copy of a couple, and when I send in my my next submission with all Nedor/Better/Standard books I will have another 15 of the lowest graded copies.
  19. I was hoping for a 6.0 on this one, but I was denied. Still it is one of my favorite SA covers
  20. Out of the 12 unrestored books in the census.......mine is graded the lowest! But I still love it, bought here off these boards from GermanFan.
  21. I bought 3 slabs from Mark. He packages well, ships fast and communicates with the best of the nerds.
  22. MIchael sold me a key I have been wanting for awhile. Excellent packing, fast shipping and great price. Thanks
