Two things..... 1) Anyone else notice the mis-spelling of the word invisible???? She's "Invinsible?" 2) When she disappears wouldn't they simply think she died? Like she was "dusted" or "pruned". Instead they immediately know she's invisible. How do they know???

I think 2.0 is too generous. If the back cover is decent..... 1.8

Yes, I knew nothing about marking boxes. It suuuuucked knowing my Express was sitting there forever (it was an AF15)

This WW5 cover was in a "pieces lot" that I bought. A couple covers, and a bunch of old pages. It's definitely an original cover, but when I flipped it over the inside cover image had somehow been "peeled" off of the inside. That kind of bummed me out. But then later in the lot of pieces I found an "inside cover" for WW5 covered with single wide piece of glossy tape. So.... I guess they wanted to make the inside cover blank so they put the "tape" down and then carefully peeled it apart? I can't believe the entire cover didn't just tear apart. I was thinking of buying a coverless copy to put with the cover. Do you think I should glue the inside image back on or just leave everything alone at this point?

GRADE IS IN......PGM - AF15
gadzukes replied to gadzukes's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
True...... plus it's a complete Q with no resto. Not all Qs are equal.... married pages don't bother me nearly as much as clipped out coupons. -
THE SUICIDE SQUAD directed by James Gunn (2021)
gadzukes replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
And having her separated from the rest of the group for most of the movie took away her mojo. The fun in this movie was watching the interactions between the squad.... some of the most subtle interactions were the strongest.- 802 replies

THE SUICIDE SQUAD directed by James Gunn (2021)
gadzukes replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
I told my wife not to watch it with me (I knew she wouldn't like it) but she sat down on the couch to give it a try. It didn't take long for her to walk away, and as she left..... "How can you stand this? It's horrible." But..... I really had fun. I was laughing out loud a few times. It wasn't perfect, but I really liked it. Strangely, I think Harlee was my least favorite of the main characters.- 802 replies

GRADE IS IN......PGM - AF15
gadzukes replied to gadzukes's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Grade is in. 2.0 qualified. Married cover & CF I knew the CF was married, but personally, I thought the front cover was part of the comic even though it was detached. I guess it really doesn't matter since it was going to get a Green label anyway. I'm more than happy with a 2.0 Any good ideas on how I should value this? Qualified's rarely come up at auction. Maybe in this grade 70% of a Blue? 60%? -

Imagine looking thru every issue of FF and keeping a tally of the damage Ben did (just in New York City). Can you imagine the cost of repair? But....... he has saved humanity's bacon a few times so I guess it's worth it.
-
True, but I like to know what I'm buying. And when you buy "Extensive" resto you never know what you're buying. I'd take that $50k and buy a nice Blue label 4.0 - 4.5
-
I'm guessing this comic was probably only in the 3.5 range before resto so $50,000 seems about right. What if it was only a 1.0 originally before resto? Yikes I wouldn't want to pay that much for it.

Bronze age comics that are heating up on eBay...
gadzukes replied to PeterPark's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
I have to say.... this era of the Avenger comics was one of my favorites. I loved the time travel, I loved getting the Two-Gun Kid involved, I loved how they melded the Visions origin with the original Human Torch..... just some really good creative writing going on in those days. -

If Kang, in a future MCU movie, decided to build his own "legion of the unliving" he could bring back characters like Black Widow, Iron Monger (did he die?), Tony Stark, Killmonger, etc.... that could be interesting. -

Has this comic been mentioned? Avengers 131? Seems like a good candidate for heating up. It's the first meeting ever of Immortus, Kang, and Rama Tut. Seems like that would be an important moment. Also Kang creates the "Legion of the Unliving" which brings back Wonder Man, the Original Human Torch, Midnight (Shang Chi villain), Frankenstein, Ghost (Mephisto ally), and more. I always loved the story line that develops from this where Vision finds out his "parts" came from the original Human Torch -
Great Jennifer, Again, when I submit a pedigree what do I have to do with my submissions. Do I write a note with it when I submit it? Todd

About 5 years ago I bought a stack of about 100 western comic covers. I was told they're all part of the "New Hampshire Pedigree" and the markings on all of them definitely match the pedigree. I never thought about slabbing any of them since they were only covers and not worth much by themselves, but then two things happened.... 1) you created the awesome "Pedigree Labels" 2) one of my western covers is now worth something because it's the Stan Lee cover for Black Rider 8. Here's my question...... If I submit my Black Rider 8 cover can I get it slabbed with your Pedigree Label, "New Hampshire Pedigree"? Or does it have to be a complete comic to get the label? When I submit it, do I just post a note on it "New Hampshire Pedigree"? Here is the cover:

Disney's JUNGLE CRUISE starring Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt (2021)
gadzukes replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
I had fun. The jokes were so bad that they were good. I felt like I was watching a remake of the Mummy and Pirates of the Caribbean mashed together : British Heroine with wussy brother, Amulet that will eventually unlock something, lifting an ancient curse, even a "Library scene" where the Heroine has to balance on one of those rolling ladders. Even though I had fun..... ultimately I can only give it a 7/10. It was a little too long, a little too busy (the pacing was SO fast), the CG was..... weird. Dwayne & Emily are really good. My wife watched it with me and she didn't like it.- 31 replies

This is just a cover so I already know it can only get the "CVR" designation. However..... I've been told this cover is almost certainly from the "New Hampshire Pedigree". If you only submit a cover can you still get the cool Pedigree label? It's actually fairly high grade (except for the spine).... check out those corners.
