The first thing I did Friday morning was buy a boxed NES and a few games. It was a nice way to start the day.

Any Master System games? I love that crappy system.
Patrick
No, just NES, SNES and N64 games.
It looks like that there are 1 or 2 famicom games. What are they?
The Famicom game is After Burner. It's got a game converter on it that lets you play it in an NES.

I bought someone's entire video game collection tonight.

I picked up a sweet Superman radio for my comic room.
They had one of these at a local thrift store recently, they wanted $80 for it if I remember correctly, so I passed on it. A very cool item though ?
I didn't pay anything close to $80 for mine.
People on eBay are trying to get $175 or more for it.

I spent my morning hitting up garage sales with my son and my folks. It was a lot of fun. I scored a whole lot of video games, but not a single comic book. The only comic-related thing I took home was this Harley Quinn Barbie Doll.

I picked up a cool Spidey puzzle from 1978 today. The exact same one is being offered on eBay for $499.95. Unfortunately, it doesn't actually seem to sell for that much.

Here's a Campbell cover that you don't see every day. I'm glad that I was finally able to add it to my collection.

I just want to warn the community that you should all think twice about buying from a German eBay seller who calls himself thereadysteady. I purchased a rare poster from him and he shipped it to me in a paper envelope, with nothing but a single flimsy piece of cardboard to protect it. Unsurprisingly, the poster arrived at my door in terrible shape. When I contacted the seller about the matter, he refused to provide me with a new poster (though he had several more for sale). He also refused to give me a refund. He was a nightmare to deal with and I ultimately had to get eBay involved to get my money back. I'll be avoiding doing business with him in the future and I suggest that you do the same.

I got up early today to check out a garage sale and it was worth it. I got everything pictured below for $8.

I've owned four copies of that book (one CGC 9.8 Blue, one CGC 9.8 Sig Series, one CGC 9.6 Blue, and one raw). I sold all but one of my copies and got good money for them, but now I'm really wishing that I held onto them for longer.

Has anyone else been collecting the J. Scott Campbell statues that Sideshow has been putting out? I picked up Black Cat this week and completed the set in the process.

I like this one.

I responded to an ad on Kijiji and managed to get my hands on a pretty sweet poster rack.
Is that a Divas poster in the background?
That poster rack is pretty cool
Sure is.

I picked up a Godzilla toy from 1985 on the weekend. I got it for less than a buck.
I've considered buying the U.S.S Flagg, but it's just so big that I don't know where I could display it. My man cave is overflowing with stuff as it is, and my significant other would kill me if I put it anywhere else in the house. I guess I could put it in my pool. Does anyone know if it floats?
