  1. This is great insight - thanks so much (and to everyone else who chimed it - haven't been able to respond in a few days). I frankly didn't pay much for these. I've had the ROTJ figs since roughly 1992 when I traded some (likely now worthless) baseball cards for them, and I picked up the Bossk a few years later at a con for $50. I've had them packed away since then, but unfortunately never made an effort to research proper storage - an odd move as a long-time comic collector I think I'll take your advice and submit the Bossk, Vader and Kenobi; I was also considering Wickett just because he seems to have endured the least amount of yellowing, and the card isn't punched. However, based on recent ebay sales, it looks like there's not much demand, and ungraded ones tend to go pretty cheaply. I thought everyone loved ewoks
  2. I appreciate the feedback - yea, part of it would be to assess the value and determine if they'd be worth selling.
  3. This is really awesome info, thanks! Here are additional Bossk pics - looks like it's not a 31 back . Still worth a sub? Are the others not worth subbing due to cost vs. value?
  4. Hi all, Not super knowledgeable with toy collecting, and would love any insight. I have a few original carded Star Wars figs that I'm thinking of sending in for grading. I've had these packed away for 25+ years, and frankly didn't store them as well as I should have, as all of them now have pretty significant yellowing to the bubbles. I'm not sure that they're worth a ton, but I'd love to have them graded so I can display them and protect them properly moving forward. A few questions: 1- Is AFA the best option? Would there be any reason to consider another service? 2 - Is there any sort of cleaning or prepping that I should look into before submitting? A few of the cards, the Bossk in particular, have some bowing which looks like it could be flattened out. Not sure this is possible or would even improve the grade, but is there the toy equivalent of pressing for a comic? Pics below - thanks for your help!
  5. Absolutely loved those early 90s Marvel sets. The original 1990 set was a big reason that I got into comics - introduced me to The New Warriors, Darkhawk, and tons of other villains and heroes that I hadn't previously heard of. I would absolutely submit and collect those if CGC starts accepting
  6. Holy mackerel that went fast. Stunning book - congrats!
  7. Bought a bunch of TPBs from Mike, and they came as described, were well-packed, and shipped out quickly. Will definitely be buying from Mike again
  8. Just picked up this guy off of eBay for a pretty reasonable price. I see that they're going for as high as $270-$300 normally, so now I'm torn as to weather to keep it or let it go. I've never read this run and am eager to dive in, but not necessarily $300 worth of eager lol.
  9. Added a few - here's my final list: Sandman Vol 1 Lazarus Seven to eternity Rocket girl Sex Criminals 1 Sex Criminals 2 The Complete Maus HC Sculptor HC
