I doubt one person purchased the entire issue. Besides the huge cost of a double issue with premium pages we know it's already been broken up for the auction.

Robert Kirkman just revealed the name of the Walking Dead spinoff show and he has a starring role in the show as well!

I just checked and I was able to preorder #127 directly from Google Play Books. So it seems the Amazon/Comixology deal didn't change how Google gets their books so we should see the issue available the night before comic shops get it.

I came across the compendium today for the first time at Midtown Comics, it's like a giant trade paperback, loved the feel of it. With the hardcovers I'm always too careful but the compendium is made to read over and over again. I'll be ordering 1&2 from Amazon (cheapest price I could find).

Exactly, personally I wouldn't spend more than $200 on anything that isn't published. Sketches can be great but just aren't canon.
