  1. That is true. Most of my stuff was bought off the rack or came in some collections I purchased 15-20 years ago. So it's all gravy really. Not all though.
  2. I probably could have been a little more discriminating here. But it's fine!
  3. I would get the Lois Lane ungraded. Love that book.
  4. I sold 25 slabs through their last auction. Like they advertise, 0% fees. I got every penny of what the books sold for and quickly. I am sending another 50 for this next auction. Mostly 30-60-80 dollar books....a few much nicer ones. Final sale prices were equivalent to Ebay or at least very close. I like their service and I really enjoy not having to do the listing and take the pictures myself, I just send it off to them and they do the rest. Figure 80 dollars to ship 25 slabs so keep that in mind. Some examples of mine from the last auction: Batman Harley and Ivy 1 CGC 9.8 $125 Chili 8 CGC 8.0 $21.00 Dark Knights: Batman Who Laughs 1 CGC 9,8 $73.,00 DC Comics Presents 26 CGC 9.0 $180 Ghost Rider 19 CGC 9.6 $96.00 Machine Man 1 CGC 9.6 $44.00 Red Sonja 1 CGC 9.4 $76.00 Thor 203 CGC 9.0 $58.00 X-Men 268 CGC 9.4 $42.00 And no I am not a shill for them! Just a slug collector.
  5. I've had 4 Ebay sales and a pending offer over the last 5 days. Prior to that I went about a month with nothing. Maybe buyers are coming around or maybe I got lucky.
  6. US Buyers Only Back Story: My brother-in-law manages a thrift store in Platte City, Mo. This book (and 6 boxes of others) were dropped off by the back door anonymously one night. Fortunately it didn't rain before an employee saw them and brought them in. He called me to evaluate them as I'm the 'comic guy'. Lots of Star Wars in there! Including this guy which was in nice shape and I offered to press and submit and sell for him. Here it is! Star Wars: The Clone Wars 1 CGC 9.6 blue universal white pages $1200 Offers accepted via PM. A buy claim in the thread supersedes any in-progress negotiation $20 USPS Priority Mail Shipping fully insured. Payment via paypal, Zelle, or Venmo. Checks and Money Orders accepted also but they will take time to clear (the checks I mean). Return policy: No Returns
  7. I'm still hung over from the last one in 2012.
  8. I saw yesterday they announced a Peach Momoko signing. And reasonably priced. She never does signings so I imagine this will be a massive flood of books. Hope CGC is ready.
  9. Love that one too....I like how his initials are on the rocket ship...I actually missed that.
  10. Man that Lady Rawhide....Love Hughes. Need to get that one.
  11. A pretty drekky bunch in this one....No issues with the grades, they are accurate. The Secret Wars run was from a small collection I picked up in Lees Summit, Mo about 12 years ago. 6 long boxes, he wanted $200. Sure. There were lots of early Harley Quinn appearances (no BA 12), lots of cool Indie and Manga, Ghosts in The Shell, Domu, nearly a full run of Blade of the Immortal...still waiting for that movie! I think the Godzilla/Barkley was in there as well. And the Secret Wars. They sat for all this time I finally figured, screw it, pressed them and sent them in,
  12. It's fire!!! A steall!!! (bad indecipherable rap music in the background)
  13. So....CGC is selling CGC graded signed slabs? That doesn't seem right.
  14. I have some romance comics from the early 70's. I wanted to let the community know I will attaching some light brown moisture stains to the cover and resubmitting for what I am sure will be 10.0's that I will be selling for the low price of $2000.00. PM for photos of the manufacturing process.
