@MAR1979Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad those books are at a good home The Dark Mansions digest was one of my favorite DC digests. I obtain that copy way back early 2000’s from another collector. Some board members might remember this collector - Bob Cat’s entertainment. Also, there was one copy I could not find a 9.8 condition - Best of DC Blue Ribbon Digest #68 Sugar and Spike Halloween special. That particular digest had a lot of printing defects, more so than the other digests. Maybe you are able to find a 9.8 copy

WONDER WOMAN 2 directed by Patty Jenkins (11/1/19)
vane replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
I signed up to HBOMax to see this film with anticipation that this film will be very good. Boy...I was wrong. The first 10 minutes started off ok but it went down hill from there. Within 30 minutes into the movie my 18 year old kid walked out of the living room. Then another 15 minutes my wife started to doze off. I was the only one around saw the entire movie and it was bad. It had some interesting points in the movie but that was it. I don’t think Pat Jenkins had full control of the film. It looks like someone higher up or board members was controlling the direction of the movie. Also, there’s an ugly rumor that they might stop printing DC Comics entirely and go all digital.- 1,312 replies

I asked them to look at this cover and try to make it a bit more modern. Of course, nothing can beat the original below. -
She'll be turning 18. Going to graduate high school soon. She thought about being a graphic designer, but after much research and reading though reddit threads it really doesn't pay all that much even if you do a 20 year career. She decided to work on her marketing degree instead when she attends college.

Hi all, Here's another sketch and digitally colored drawing my kid did. She's working on getting a car, so I paid for this one. It's a cover swipe from House of Mystery.

My birthday came and went. I asked my daughter to sketch me another Batman but include Cain (House of Mystery).

A Christmas gift from my daughter. I asked her to sketched me the Black Flash and this what she came up with.

6 years ago, I liked the Christmas background music so much in this Smallville episode, I extracted the vocals and posted just the music only on YouTube. Hope everyone likes.

This is her last year in high school. She was thinking to be a conceptual artist or a graphic designer, but after some research - she found that it might not be the job for her. So now she’s thinking to work on getting a marketing degree with a minor in graphic design. Seems there more opportunities in a Marketing career.

My daughter sketched this on paper and uploaded to her iPad, and digitally colored it in using ProCreate app. Coverswipe Detective Comics #366

9.8 NM/MT $900 This is extremely hard to find in this condition due to the black cover. This book is from 1974, so a 45 year old book in this condition is pretty much uncanny. You can still smell the fresh newsstand from the book.

Thanks! I sold most of my DC Digests.
