  1. Who's the guy in the iron mask? Is it Jonathan Chambers a.k.a. “Johnny Quick” of Earth-2 or Barry's father?
  2. Joey got this 9.6 into a 9.8. Thanks Joey.
  3. Great buyer to deal with!
  4. Selling off most of my digests everyone. Here's the link. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9171010&fpart=1
  5. Where did you find that book? Nice digest!! I just can't get my digest run finish. It seems Best of DC #60 through #71 are very tough to find in 9.8's. And forget about the Jonah Hex's digest. They're just impossible to find in 9.8's because of their horrendous printing defects. I did find a possible Jonah Hex and Other Western Tales #1 9.8 BUT it caught damaged during shipping to CGC.
  6. There's a All-Star Comics #58 9.8 CGC for sales on eBay for $3,700 http://www.ebay.com/itm/All-star-Comics-58-9-8-1st-appearance-Power-Girl-/291646041606?hash=item43e7756e06:g:gwMAAOSw~otWfCdn I'm guessing everyone is trying to cash in because of the recent sale on comiclink.com last month. Their are a couple for upcoming auctions. Here's one on comicconnect http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=650278 And comiclink http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAuctions%2Fsearch%2Easp%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3Dall%2Bstar%2Bcomics%2B%252358%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item%5F1100029&id=1100029#detail
  7. It plays out bad. Random obscure book, terrible listing.. .. Oh and in the wrong thread I know it looks like I'm promoting the book, but my intention is on this thread is that book is becoming more and more popular due to the new Justice League movie and the new Shazam movie. I believe sooner or later Warner Bros will make a film that Superman and Shazam battle each other. You should have posted it in the Copper thread. It's a Copper book after all not Bronze. On a side note, those Ordway All Star Squadron books get no love There's always a debate when the bronze age ended. My opinion it ended in the DC Crisis on Infinite Earths of 1986, so I considered the All-Star Squadrons series a bronze age series. That'sjust my opinion.

  9. Let's see how this plays out. Superman Vs Shazam http://www.ebay.com/itm/All-Star-Squadron-9-6-CGC-Signed-Jerry-Ordway-Rich-Buckler-Shazam-Superman-JSA-/231790162122?hash=item35f7c530ca:g:dFgAAOSw5IJWd2bc
  10. I consider this book the last Bronze Age Justice Society appearance. The next true copper age appearance is the 1991 series. This book is very difficult in high grade due to black cover. I would like to hear anyone opinions on this.
  11. TERRIFIC! mm Thanks! I really like Joe Staton art on the back cover.
  12. Just got this in but no idea why this is not a 9.8. I will submit it to Joey to see if he can improve the grade.
  13. The one you're seeing is that my wife bought it several years ago for me. It was a Christmas present. I'm not letting that one go. BUT I do have another copy. You can make me an offer. Here's the second copy below.
  14. what is FF? Fantastic Four most likely.....Sweet books btw. And I always thought it was Famous Funnies. I don't really collect Marvel. I was thinking he was talking about Freedom Fighters.
  15. And my other Power Girls I love them as well...
  16. Wow........ https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2Fauctions%2Fpreview%2Easp%3F%5FSORT%3DYES%26code%3D2015nov%26f1%3Di%2ECondition%26ODire1%3DDESC%26f2%3Di%2EType%252C%2Bi%2ETitle%252C%2Bi%2EIssueNumber%26ODire2%3DASC%26f3%3Di%2ECondition%26ODire3%3DDESC%23Item%5F1085733&id=1085733 Holy mackerel! For $3500 I'm wishing I had two copies so I could unload one. Also, I feel like this might qualify in some sense for reprint value. Certainly a less expensive way to read the story - http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/DC_Special_Blue_Ribbon_Digest_Vol_1_3 I love my copy.

Double wow. Wow you're right. http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAuctions%2Fdefault%2Easp%3FFocused%3D1%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26pg%3D27%23Item%5F1085734&id=1085734 But then again...it doesn't surprise me. They've been getting more desirable in the last few years. DC Super-Stars #17 9.6 CGC did pretty well I think. It came in for $469. http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAuctions%2Fdefault%2Easp%3FFocused%3D1%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26pg%3D36%23Item%5F1091931&id=1091931
