  1. The reproduction, here, is something I imagine will do scant justice to the original art - which has got to be incredible to see 'in the flesh' (the art, not the subject matter).
  2. From this auction I bought item # 15, "The Die is Cast!", a 6-page Wally Wood story from Weird Fantasy 12. I later sold the story to a French collector in the late 1980s.
  3. Art Auction Catalog # 16 (December 21, 1983), comprising of 24 pages. Selected highlights to follow . . .
  4. Ah, ok got it. Been out of town the last several days and came in late, looked at a smattering of posts and didn't realize this was actually organized. Good stuff. There is so much art here that is now off the grid so to speak, and so much of it is what I would collect if it surfaced again. At a slight price mark up I am sure. Scott Me, too, Scott!
  5. Not everyone posts their art on CAF, so whatever appears new to you, here, ought to exist in private collections!
  6. No, no, please don't post any scans, otherwise you'll affect the continuity of what I'm doing (I'm scanning from catalog # 11 onwards).
  7. The auction date is clearly stated when I post a scan of the auction catalog (I post a scan of the cover, followed by selected highlights from that issue). Everything is done sequentially. Russ carried Neal Adams covers throughout a number of auctions (presumably from the stuff he bought from Sandy). Keep watching and more Adams cover art will be scanned . . .
  8. I bought item # 15, "The 10th at Noon" by Wally Wood. First of three Woody complete science-fiction stories I would get to own (all since traded-away or sold).
