  1. Comic Art Auction # 15 (October 19, 1983), comprising of 26 pages. Selected highlights as follows . . .
  2. How do you think I feel? I've got a life time of choices-I-shoulda-made behind me?
  3. Reminder . . . these are highlights, not complete contents of each catalog.
  4. I bought the George Evans story, 'Pearly to Dead', which I later traded-away to Mike Burkey for the cover art to Alarming Tales # 6 by John Severin (which I still have).
  5. Art Auction Catalog # 14 (June 15, 1983), comprising of 26 pages.
  6. As an interlude, between posting catalog scans, here's my EC Art Auctions feature that ran in # 85 of Comic Book Marketplace, September 2001. Russ Cochran had (at the time) recently took over as editor and was happy to use this piece that I'd submitted. The writing's not very good, but it was penned out of enthusiasm. Most of the art I possessed (at that time of writing) is no longer with me as my interest later shifted towards specializing in cover artworks.
  7. Remember this was an auction scenario (apart from any 'for direct sale' listings), so EC stories (or covers) carried minimum bids of $200, $400 or $800, depending on the calibre of the artist. Prime Woody or Ingels art would commence at $800.
  8. Thanks, I've still got lots more to post, so watch a part of our hobby's history unfold . . .
