Whew, tricky triple 5's! Had my grade ranges as 5.0-5.5, 4.5-5.0, and 5.0-5.5 on the three books. As part of my final decision I thought there was a higher chance that each grade would be different, so I made sure to mix it up lol.

Ouch, I think this is one of the worst rounds I’ve ever had. CGC hit the books with detachment/partial detachment issues harder than I thought they would.

Awesome recap, thanks for the analysis! @Superman2006 I thought there have only been 5 contests? Was the very first one a different format or limited entry or something? Never mind, I took a look back. Missed the first contest. Also got confused because I think I've done 5, but it says 4 on your score breakdown.

Tough round! Got hurt on the Jungle - couldn't tell the bottom staple/cover was detached. Mixing things up with 3 high grade books in a single round threw me off lol.

Congrats @TC33, great battle and amazing job! I feel like you have the record for lowest score in one of these contests. Was your perfect round 3 score the first time that's happened in these contests? I choked again lol, second time in a row for me leading/tied for first going into the final round. I was surprised with the Startling at a 3.0. I went 2.0 as I was thinking it could be as low as a 1.8 or as high as a 2.5. Couldn't tell that was a tear on the back of the FF.

Yep I've noticed this too. I've had MCS reholder CGC books over the last few months and some come back with the MCS Slab condition notes of scuffing or minor side/edge crack(s). I'm not sure what the cause is because I'm not opening the boxes, so I can't comment on the FedEx shipping.

I bought a few raw books from Metro last year and have had the same overgraded experience many of you are describing. A couple of the books also had tape pulls and other damage that wasn't shown in the scans and all they told me was to return the books at my expense if I'm not happy.
