  1. When you rotate the sketch you get a better fell of the perspective and what's going on in the foreground. (Check out that One WTC and Woolworth Building )
  2. Here's a Clay Mann Spidey I technically got at LSCC this February but the story is far more complicated Nonetheless the wait was wort it!
  3. I did that already and had no positive results, nothing changed. The glare is not from the outer plastic case but from the more flexible plastic sleeve that's inside, any kind of pressure won't eliminate the bends of that inner sleeve.
  4. OK so I got myself the HP Scanjet 8300 as I was frustrated with my old HP Scanjet 7400c. I hooked up the scanner downloaded the HP drivers from their website and started scanning. Here are the results 7400c 8300 7400c 8300 All images were unedited apart from photoshop resizeing. The 8300 produces far better colors ( still needs some enhancement ) but the GLARE it makes is simple unbearable! HOW DO I GET RID OF IT?! I scanned with the HP scanning software and the windows scanning software and the results were the same. Please help this glare is a deal breaker
  5. Does anybody have any experience with HP ScanJet N6310?
  6. Hey Gemma, Does the reholder service include a new microchamber paper and in consequence new inner inner well?
  7. Yeah, I definitely need to save up my money to get a Spidey from him. That is a pretty piece. +1 Great pick up Nino Oh My God, I want a Crain, Jebus help me Holy ish!
  8. Those sketches are so awesome! Those little spiders on the back cover - brilliant !
  9. Recent pickups from LSCC2013 (left to right: Adi Granov, Bob McLeod, Marco Santucci, Yildiray Cinar, Marco Santucci, Gabriele Dell'otto) I really enjoyed the show
  10. Last year I was able to contact Garry Shipman and arrange 3 commissions with him. We discussed everything pretty quickly and smoothly, he's cool guy I have nothing but good things to say about him. After just a couple of days he emailed me with scans of his work, I was thrilled! He nailed all my request and I must say he's stuck to the reference pics and the descriptions I gave him perfectly! He has a unique style and does wonders with his paint, I'm very happy with the 'finished product'. It took a long while to get them back from CGC but they finally came in about a month ago. Spider-man 3 movie poster inspired (back and front) the ambiance is great! Spidey on the lookout ready to kicks some criminal butt! This one came out great, I think Garry is also happy with it he uses it as his avatar on caf and on convention websites:)
  11. Continuing the theme Spidey catching a quick break at noon with a BLT Subway, chips and coke (I mean the beverage). They say eating on the run isn't healthy, wonder what the dietician would say about eating up side down Brian Hurt did a great job exceeding my expectations, I got to admit this piece ranks top 5 in my collection right now
  12. Had to dig to page 5 to find this thread, time for a bumb I was trying to come up with a cool, out of the box idea for a sketch and I figured Spidey can't be battling his arch enemies and saving people all the time! So our friendly neighborhood wall crawler after a long day of crime fighting finally has a chance to take 5. He’s chilling on a gargoyle of the Chrysler Building eating a slice of pepperoni pizza looking at the Empire State Building
