  1. Unfortunately that's common and to my best knowledge no buyer ever considered it a flaw which would justify any sort of a discount. I personally agree that they don't look too good and in a way they do bother me but I came to accept that it's just the way it is. As long as it has no affect on the book
  2. And the hammer is 478,000.00 with buyers premium
  3. The ASM 17.1 is just Can't go wrong with Dell'otto. I actually got a print of that cover I liked it so much
  4. I like this one! I was always a sucker for detailed city background
  5. If I were you I'd go with the sketch (art) that you find most attractive and I wouldn't care much about the grade. To me the grade has a marginal affect on the value of a SKETCH cover as I'm concentrating on the art rather then the grade. Then again a great counterargument could be made here: If i don't care about the grade why would I get a sketch on a black comic rather then on a drawing paper? But that's for a different debate. If I was to buy a sketch and I loved the art but the grade was 8.0... I'd still buy it. Of course I'm always a bit more happy when I learn that a sketch I submitted came back a 9.8 Hypocrite much?
  6. Yes back in 2015 slabs were thinner and lighter. I found this video with a guy kinda comparing both slabs
  7. It's getting really ridiculous. Soon breathing close to the next person will be a sexual harassment. When will this stop? As a male I feel offended that no woman was accused of sexually harassing a guy... what are we not good enough ?! (that was a joke) [I feel bad pointing out that it was a joke but in these time I need to]
  8. If it's not a 9.8 I'd go for the signature.
  9. This thread should been called ASM Variant Porn I always liked Paolo work so thus the 646 Variant:
  10. It looks to match perfectly with the sideshow Spidey in this photo! I know most would argue about the scale but this (at first sight) disproportion actually works very well when you consider how huge venom was in the comics and how small Spidey appeared next to him My questions is: How to display the XM Statues without a custom cabinet and having them inside a piece of furniture rather then having them standing on a shelf in the open. Is there any Ikea solution that works with that kind of dimensions?
  11. Yeah I wouldn't consider that rude either, go for it (If you feel you're being impolite write a short note asking if the artist could sign it with the attached pen and that you'd be appreciative if he did.)
  12. don't understand how this could be an issue for the one placing the signature... maybe he's irritated by too small windows in which he can't fit his signature IDK

  14. I do collect variants but I'm starting to 'enjoy' this dramatically less and less... I hate my inner completionist
  15. LMAO but sometimes while reading I need to twist and change positions so that the sun doesn't blind me or doesn't create sun glitter on the pages sooo ....
  16. Hey, I'm actually wondering how this works. If the previous owner for whatever reason keeps rejecting the transfer how does CGC check if in fact that person no longer has the book and how does CGC ensure themselves that the new owner does have the book?
  17. Could you please basically expand the set Type: Amazing Spider-Man (Complete with Variants) with Set Type: Amazing Spider-Man (2015)
