  1. I've been selling on the boards and on eBay for years. Clink links for feedback. Who can make purchases? All are welcome except for those on the Probation or Hall of Shame Lists. trumps PM. PM Negotiations are not complete until either myself or the buyer confirm the sale in the thread. Payment Methods Paypal preferred, but Check/Money Order also excepted. Shipping $12 for the first slab; $2 for each additional. Shipping capped at $20. International Shipping Available, but it won't be cheap. Contact me for a quote. All International packages will be shipped Global Priority. Return Policy No returns on slabs.
  2. I wonder if the seller actually had to come out of pocket for the refund on that one. Doesn't eBay's "Seller Protection" cover the seller if the item was delivered? Sellers being on the hook for items showing as delivered but not "received" by the buyer is a very slippery slope. My opinion is the seller shouldn't be responsible. If they are, the system can and will be abused.
  3. CCS is a subsidiary of CGC. So if CCS cracks open a Signature Series book, it's the same as if CGC does it. Since there is no break in the chain of custody from customer to CCS/CGC, the book would retain the Signature Series label as CGC knows it is still a witnessed signature.
  4. Not true. If CCS does it the book will retain the SS label.
  5. Who would be providing the refund if USPS determines it was scanned and delivered to the wrong area?
  6. Postal insurance would be useless in this situation. According to tracking, the item was delivered. Case closed. Insurance would not pay out despite the claims that the buyer never received it. Seller can't be responsible for this one. All the buyer can do is discuss the situation with USPS. They won't do anything about it, but the problem is between the buyer and USPS, not the buyer and the seller.
  7. Seller did nothing wrong here, so it doesn't seem like he should be on the hook for a refund. Your dispute is with USPS, not the seller, but with no insurance on the shipment you may have no other choice than to eat it.
  8. I only snipe on eBay for the reason stated above. Sniping is the buyer's best defense against shill bidding.
  9. The most current CGC case is basically tamper proof. There is no way to switch out books without obvious trauma to the holder. I have a few books that came back from CGC without the top being completely sealed. Not sure if this is a QC issue or just something that happens with certain books, but it's not a major cause of concern.
  10. Mockingbird Shield 50th Variant NM 9.4 $12 Runaways Vol. 1 #4 VF/NM $1 Static #1 bagged $10 x3 at 15%
  11. Gotta disagree with this. Sentry is a character best used in small doses based on his power set and backstory. Don't think he will be a major player for those reasons.
  12. My opinion, but if I'm going to drop 1k+ on a book I'd want it to be the highest graded example. For that reason, I'd shy away from the Iron Man #1. That being said, not sure a 9.9 Spawn is worth that much considering there are 65 in that grade and 6 more that are 10.0. So my vote - unless you have money to burn I would pass on both at that price point.
  13. You need to have the full amount of credit available to use Paypal credit. It won't let you split payments between two different sources.
  14. My guess is comics are heavier than trading cards and the physics involved would make the books more vulnerable to damage from SCS with this design.
  15. Great buyer. Paid quickly without any issues.
