The only one missing from my collection. The 9.6 that was on eBay with the date stamp may have been the HighGradeComics copy, I was tempted by it myself as I am in desperate need of this book to complete the "keys". But I was also put off by the date stamp, it appears in the "moon" of the cover and even though the book is well structured and looks great (plus its a 9.6) I want this cover to be clean in that respect. But everyone is right, #227 are hard to come by, I've sold a VFN- raw & a CGC 8.0 in the last year for decent prices whilst trying to pursue at least a 9.4 #232 are easier to find then #227, even though I feel the #232 is the better cover (gotta love that green).

I'd be happy with just a 9.4 just to "complete" the 600-699 run of covers.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one but I don't think it is. I'd post some photos but I just put the #600-699 box in the loft.

If I'm being honest there are other comics I'd rather spend 2k on in the main Bat title then this one, regardless of how scarce it is.

To my knowledge, and from the ones that I own myself there are 5 covers: Batman #608 1. 1st Printing 2. 2nd Printing 3. RRP Edition 4. New York Post Giveaway Edition (now this has "Special Edition" top right with "New York Post Exlcusive" at the bottom. 5. Special Edition - basically the RRP cover with a yellow border saying "After Watchmen, Whats next"? - Was released in 2009

Only one thing this week, picked up this upgrade on Batman #196.

The books I've had the hardest time finding have been the 2nd & 3rd printings from the late Batman #400s. The only one I own is 2nd printing of Batman #497. I've also been looking for a high grade copy of Batman #457 this is easy to spot as it has "New Robin Issue" printed at the top. I have never seen one of these in 2 years of searching!

Now that's what I'm talking about! Awesome!

My latest batch of Detectives.... range from 8.0 - 9.2, starting to get this collection (raw) together now as I've made great headway with the Bat title.

I have never seen that cover before. That is pretty awesome I must say.
