  1. Maybe CGC will include them in their grading contest
  2. How it ever got certified as legit is beyond me. Everyone and their brother who knew anything knew that was a fake case the moment he started showing it.
  3. My Modern PS Delivered May 26 haven't moved off SFG. yet ppl from June and July have theirs back. I asked CGC and they said it's still a few weeks out. We'll be pushing 180 working days at that point.
  4. This show is legit a steaming pile of hot garbage. Each episode has severe issues be it plot holes the size of Endor, ideas/useless parts, stuff that has no part being there. I won't go into any details but I think this is the worst Star Wars piece ever put out. Yes I said it.
  5. Until it's revealed that the PUBLIC auction house that "SOLD" the book, are also part of the group that "BOUGHT" the book so they could say they sold off the most expensive book (not adjusting for inflation). I mean it's not like they haven't done that before Would that void the sale price or the idea that a book has to sell publicly to count?
  6. Ok I'll rephrase if it sells for less than Superman 1 did who reigns #1 then?
  7. bahahaha really you are trying to use a Superman 1 sale to Justify an AF15 sale. What happens when an ASM1 sells for under 7 figures?
  8. Yes I mentioned that above as well. However if they do that it ruins the narrative and we want to move the goalposts so only AF15 is number 1 . It's just like if you punch in all time movie revenue Titanic is number 3.
  9. I'm paraphrasing but "why would I sell it for anything less than graded value minus cost of grading, else I might as well slab it myself"
  10. based on inflation the AC1 is still the most expensive book ever sold
  11. I was just pulling a name of someone who's recently spent a lot of money in/around the hobby. My point is that we don't know even in a public auction setting that a book even sold, or was purchased back by the auction house or similar, but yet if Storms or Reece brokered a deal for a monster book we can't take that at face value no matter what (I'd take their word over HA's word any day of the week).
  12. No they don't get a credit. The reason a shop would charge a lot more than just the cgc costs is quite simple. You can submit yourself do all of the work and pay less or: - Shop has to prepare the inventory (database for the books) - Shop has to buy packing material - Shop has to pack the books - Shop has to do the cgc slips - Shop has to ship the books/pay for insurance - Shop has to and I can't stress this one enough answer 1000x are my books back yet, when are my books back, I can't believe my 9.8 just bought it off the rack book came back an 8.5 - Shop has to pay for return shipping which is astronomical especially in Canada By the time you add all of that time, energy, efforts and costs in dealers are not making much on customer submissions.
  13. Oh come on. I won't even begin with the rest of the comment. So because HA bought the AF15 9.6 for the most amount of money and the buyer is HA the sale counts but if Dinesh buys a book out of Vinny's vault and never sees the auction it doesn't count?
  14. This legit made me laugh out loud. I can totally see him with a grin on his face as if he just won the lottery.
  15. That it's about 200 less bottles he can drink a year.
  16. https://www.cgccomics.com/dealers/account/membership/ This is where it is asking for payment.
  17. Please keep us posted if you chat with them. Based on what I'm seeing we have till Feb 18th to pay.
