  1. 9 days to verify a fast track... approaching 50 and still haven't verified a slow track. I had a feelin when I saw that 50 day tat that I should go fast track. Ya they are really "encouraging" the fast track option.

  3. You know I can't say...it just Can't Be Told He does need to learn how to express his opinion in under 100 words. I wasn't aware he was a troll as well. He been following CC for the last few days and posting him opinion of he that is for sure.
  4. Wait until HE puts your sales thread on hold and then doesn't buy your entire sales thread
  5. Have some on Aug 1 and same boat as you the last thing I heard on this tier was 3-4 months was the average TAT Whats the point of having a TAT posted on the website for estimated @40, current @50 if you would be sitting @70-80 They'd rather not admit to how far behind they are? they'd rather you submit books based on a shorter estimate Haha I get that they don't want to show they are behind but no point even having the "current" setting either. If the "current" setting was on track I am sure it would reduce the calls/emails saying where my books but when you are off by 10-20-30 business days...

  7. my apologies. Don't apologize all his other subs kill the estimated times
  8. Had a Modern rcvd June 27 ship Aug 21, my modern prescreen rcvd June 27...at QC means 4+ weeks for a pre-screen.
  9. Been in QC for exactly 1 week today while you are there, can you pick up my books Anything good? I will email Bree and tell her to slip them in my box Mind you they won't fit with my second batch that was received by cgc only a few days later and haven't made to QC yet. Agree its encapsulation again.
  10. Recalculated that for you. Onsite grading in Chicago and Baltimore slows things down a bit. and that right there is why I have been averaging calendar days instead of relying on business days. I send at least one a month so almost two years data now to pull from to get average times for tiers gives me a pretty close estimate. I don't disagree with you, but in this case it seemed like the poster was getting antsy about a 45 day period when CGC was only seeing 29 days. Counting in calendar days is a good way to go, as long as one understands how CGC is counting them. At the end of the day they'll all go grossly over estimates as usual no matter how you count the days. (thumbs u You mean 81 calender days is a good deal for moderns that still haven't shipped? Not sure I ever claimed that. But that would fit my statement that submissions will go grossly over estimates no matter how you count the days. Wasn't trying to insinuate you claimed that. I don't go by their estimates at all and one reason like this thread to get a "feel" for how long it should take.

  12. I sense a bottle neck at encap machine again... looks like most of us have books waiting for more than a week at them
  13. Guess that means EST would be 70-80 business days. Wow that is a lot of waiting. Means about 100+ calender days. My modern slow track from 8/1/14 is still sitting at received. So your economy books are likely at 80+, especially with NYCC coming up. Ya I have MST also from 8/1. Good thing I have nothing else to be sent in. Less I snag something for dropoff at NYCC Does anyone worry that the hot book you submitted in August wont be hot anymore when you get it back in November? Such a long time to have books sitting around. It absolutely is an issue with hot books. Anything hot or looking to get hot has to be sent in fast track. Which in turn increases the cost for the slab up to $35 or so with shipping (larger order). There definitely a complex "game" involved with picking the books worth slabbing and figuring the optimum slabbing method to make some cash at the end of it all. Yes yes it does. Relocate to Sarasota so that you don't need to worry about shipping

  18. Man they really want you to pay for fast track...takes your books just a a few weeks to go through, slow track is 2.5+ months.
