  1. Why didn't the zombie delivery truck smash through the inner gates on the prison and drop off the zombies?

This is why I thought it was Andrea. Causing what she knew would be easily handled damage, and she'd be able to get there and in without being thought of by the Governor.

I could be in left field as well of course...just the first thing that entered my mind when the scene aired.

  2. I actually loved Paul Smith's work on the book. The stories were just terrible though, light a light bulb got switched off or something. Mutant Massacre and Fall of the Mutants were okay, though don't stand the test of time.

Heck, the Brood Saga is one of the most underrated story lines of all time. Great stuff there.

  3. I remember very vividly when 175 hit the stands :)

My best friend at the time who lived a couple of houses down called me and told me it was on the rack at the depanneur (that's Quebecois for corner store ;) ). I literally slammed the phone down on him and RAN to the store to buy it.

    Good times! :)

  4. I've got a couple copies of the regular #1...I'll post pics tonight.

I also have The Tick Onmibus gold edition, that's signed, numbered and sketched by Edlund. I haven't seen another in many years...

Here's a group shot of my #1s (both are quite nice), and my copies of each Omnibus.

The gold edition is limited to 3000 copies, individually numbered, signed and sketched . I haven't seem any of these around in many years.

  5. Really good read. Thought there might have been a few too many splash pages. Are they trying to get Adlard some more advertisement for his OA? But this issue was really good!

I just wonder what is next for Andrea. She has been through (arguably) the most trauma in the series. Rick and Carl will never be the same. The priest is going to have to "man up".

I was disappointed that The Hunters really didn't cause too much havoc in the series. I guess I was hoping for more from them. They really only took Dale with them. According to Kirkman's article where he was putting odds on people's deaths, I expected more bloodshed.

I completely forgot about that article where Kirkman put odds on people's deaths, but now that you mention it, I was expecting more of the main characters to be be offed in this arc based on that as well.

It will be very interesting to see where Krikman takes Andrea and the Priest from here. I agree completely with your points here....

I think the issue showed just how badass this group has gotten at surviving. Great book!

  6. I have some not-so-great pics of my setup at my place where I've been for a year and a half.

It's a second floor, big 5 1/2 of a duplex though not quite as big as a house to one's self. I had to be a bit creative, and have a girlfriend who likes my stuff to get things to where I'm at (and happy).

I've got my 3 comic armoirs beside each other along the inside wall of the dining room where they fit just perfectly. They are 6 feet high, 2 1/2 wide and 16 inches deep. The best stuff is organized in dividers (see open door pic), and the rest are arranged inside 2 rows deep...they hold A LOT of books, and hidden from view until you want to see them.

On top is my sketch and original art collection.
