  1. Awesome, strange the CGC label still says 91 when this printing was released in 94.
  2. Sweet pick up! It's really a gorgeous cover. Do you know the story with this p rinting? I'd be interested to know why this one is worth more than the 1st printing. I came across this blog a while back that detailed a good rundown of the various printings: http://hulkcollection.wordpress.com/2010/03/16/the-incredible-hulk-377-1991/
  3. I am surprised no one commented on this. I rarely do this.....but I'm taking a page from the Absolute Hardest to find 70 s books and not mentioning it until I find a copy. Been looking for a longggggg long time. Picked up a NM copy of the 3rd printing of Hulk 377 in a Nashville comic shop, paid a whole $1.99 for it. I'm definitely going to submit it, there's only 3 copies on the census as of now.
  4. Is there a resource that shows the print runs of the Silver Age DC and Marvel keys or is scarcity determined by how many copies of a particular issue are on the census? Im asking because some have mentioned SC22 and the other DC keys are a bit rarer and I'm wondering how that's determined.
  5. I'm still the very happy owner of that 1.0, can't wait to see the movie!
  6. Haha, well right now 1.0 grails are about all I can manage, but I do think it's a very good looking 1.0, so it probably wouldn't fetch that "worse copy" premium. You never know with the craziness I see going on nowadays though. I doubt my 11 year old self back in 1990 buying the first issue of Green Lantern Vol. 3 at the local 7-11 would have ever imagined having a SC22 20 years later, even back then I was aware of how important a book it was.
  7. Well I got my SC22 in today that I posted about over in the SC22 Club thread, and I thought I'd post a shot of it with my GL1.
  8. Thanks! Guess I'm on the lookout for a 1.0 SC4 now.....
  9. Well the seller over at Comic Link accepted my bid, so I guess I'm now officially in the club! I know it's not the best looking copy, but I'll love it all the same:
  10. Well I put in a bid on a low-grade SC22, wish me luck, I'd really like to join this club.
  11. Along with SC4 and 22 and BB28, what all would you guys consider to be the big DC silver age keys?
  12. Thanks for the welcome. I looked around for the best comic forums and these seem to be it, so I'm here to stay. Getting back to Green Lantern, he was always my favorite DC character from when I originally collected comics in the late 80's-early 90's, so now that I'm back in the comic world and I have a little more disposable income, I knew I wanted a key early issue featuring him. Plus, like I stated before, I'm just happy just to own such an iconic comic. My copy does have some tape down the spine, and from reading stuff here and there, it seems like this could possibly be removed by some professional restoration. I'm not sure if the cost involved would be worth it on my fair grade copy, any advice? From the looks of your signature pics, you seem to be the "Green Lantern" master!
  13. Do you guys think Green Lantern #1 is going to bump up from the movie hype as well? SC22 was a little out of my price range but I was able to get a fair copy of GL 1 off of eBay last month for $300. It's my first Silver Age key, so I'm pretty thrilled with it.
