  1. The books are all signed on the inside except one because the cover was the artists only work for the issue. The OA has yet to be signed. And some OA
  2. Nice. Paging Cosmic-Spider-Man. He's already shown big interest when I first posted buying this book last year (or 2011  ), but I already stated if it came back 9.6 or better I would probably hold onto it. As far as I can tell, it's the highest graded D.C. for this issue.
  3. Just got word from joey that my ASM #148 double cover is coming back CGC 9.6 WP I'll post a pic when I get it
  4. After contacting Julius Dean Abrera and receiving his kind and gracious permission/encouragement, I'm showing this ORIGINAL INKING of his incredible original art. His pencils are NOT on the page- this is a light box piece from his pencils. I have decided I am a better inker than I am an original artist, and this was produced for the simple joy of doing it and for the practice I don't have a scanner large enough for this- this is a photo, so it doesn't accurately show all of the detail. Thanks for looking

  6. Nothing better than a hassle free transaction, and that's what I had with Ed. I couldn't be happier Quick payment and great communication! Definitely look forward to future dealings
  7. Captain Britain Cool, I was right the first time (hooray for my brain cell ). I thought there was more blue in his costume.
  8. Oh, wait no. That's the dude from Alpha Flight. Looks cool, Claudio EDIT: Nope, not him either. I give up. He looks familiar, but I obviously own no books with him.
  9. Yikes! Looks like tossing that baton is about to backfire Is that Capt. Britain?
  10. Yeah, I bet that DOES get spendy, just at the grocery store alone (eating healthy ain't cheap)
  11. $40?! In my house, they're all twenty bucks! $25 with shipping! Thats an even better rule! My wife is a Billing Administrator for a Doctor's office and pretty much the family accountant. She knows what's being spent. As long as I don't touch the savings or checking accounts, don't use the CC and pay off all Paypal purchases before months end , I'm relatively "safe".
  12. Wives are funny that way. Many, many MANY times the Mrs. didn't seem to care. The trick is not to abuse that apathy, which can be very easy to do. Otherwise all the little purchases MAY turn out to be stockpiled ammunition for one HELL of an arsenal
  13. Shaken Comic Syndrome?! Please tell me this is and not something new I don't know about?! Unfortunately it's not a joke Sometimes in transit or with rough handling, a book can shift to the right while the cover stays in place. When this happens the staple can and usually pops away from the cover and detaches at one or both. I only bring it up because it looks like there are exposed inner pages showing at the top and right edge of the book. I hope this isn't the case I have an X-Men #150 9.4 popped at the top staple. As far as I'm concerned the slab and book are fodder, and I wouldn't offer it in the PIF thread SCS can also cause other damage like causing a blunted corner. One of many SCS discussions
  14. Looks sharp, but you may want to look close at the top staple to make sure it didn't suffer from Shaken Comic Syndrome And I do hope I'm wrong
  15. Thank Odin greggy deals with high grade books. Each one was JUST as advertised and were BEAUTIFUL! This was my first time buying from greggy, and certainly won't be my last Thank you, sir! MR-SigS
  16. Paul paid very quickly , and his communication skills are exactly what the boards need. Thank you, Paul
  17. Well, the front presents VERY well. Perfect for display (but you know that)
  18. Incredible condition on that black cover!!! That is simply awesome I'd say higher than 4.0 if the last grading contest taught me anything. Did you submit it? Any idea why it's no higher?
  19. Bought these gap fillers and upgrades from one of our Canadian Brethren at an unbelievably AWESOME price. Easily the best deal I've ever made. I've been concentrating on my ASM 1-100 lately, but now my 201-328 run is WAY closer to completion. I am STOKED!! Thanks, Jason!! Books from #220 on look 9.4 easy!!
  20. Thanks I don't usually look like this btw.
